Legendary English sports car. Designed by Donald Healey. built by Jensen Motor Company and powered by Lotus. My brothers and I were Jensen/Jensen Healey dealers in Waterloo. Iowa. We sold this car brand new to a very good client and friend. It is a late series car that was factory equipped with:
140 horsepower Lotus DOHC 16 valve engine 5-speed German Getrag gearbox Tonneau and boot cover Rare factory AM/FM cassette radio Upon purchase the client added: Huffaker Engineering sway bars front and rear. Revolution alloy wheels(4). ero headlight covers. coco fibre floor mats. J-H nose cover(bra). aserati air horns. free flow air cleaners. custom exhaust. This client also removed the glued on factory body side mouldings. When this car was new it was rust proofed with a rubber based product and is rust free with all original panels.

Over the past winter my son and I flushed and refilled all fluids. upgraded drive shaft to a one piece design. added factory light weight bumpers. added driving lights. replaced rubber brake hoses with steel braided hoses and replaced bushings in shifter. Everything works as original. The spare wheel and tire have never been on the ground. The seats. door panels. tainless trim are all original and in excellent condition. The original paint on the hood and trunk lid has some crazing. The original carpeting is faded and has some fraying in the passenger footwell. The original wood dash trim has some cracks.

These Healeys are wonderful cars- riding on at that time modern coil springs powered by a modern engine that did not need a catalytic converter to pass smog rules. It could out handle and outrun competitors costing thousands more. This particular car is one of the best examples and will be a great car to own.
