About this vehicle This 1976 MG Midget 1500 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Car is sold as it is, no warranties implied. Car is driven occasionally on weekends. Starts every time. Engine pulls well, no smoke, oil and filter just changed. There are signs of oil leak, sometimes seeing a few drops on the floor after driving it. Brakes are new (rotors, pads, drums,shoes, cylinders, master cylinder). Clutch and transmission work well. The top cover looks new, with a small rip in the right side (see photo), probably from hitting something sharp when folding it. There is rust damage in the front left wheel well (see photo). Suspension needs overhaul, feeling loose when trying to drive faster. All dashboard gauges are working, but speedometer is under reading by 7-8 mph. Tires will need to be replaced (9-10 years old).
