Original numbers Matching 1972 DODGE DEMON 340 4 Barrel Automatic 727 Torqueflight car for sale.
(No Reserve)
The car is an original numbers matching early model 1972 Dodge Demon 340. Original color Hemi Orange (V-2 2186). black vinyl top. black interior. automatic transmission (727 torqueflight). 8 3/4 rear. working original AM/FM radio. original ralley wheels. ralley mirrors. factory AC. front bucket seats. center console shifter .
The car is not a complete restore. but a very sharp looking car. Most of the interior components have be refurbished (including the visors. padded dash. radio. door panels (legendary auto interiors) and more). car was re-painted prior to me owning it (still a very nice looking paint job).
Car runs good. It is the original 340 engine without any work done to it.
Also has an aftermarket Sony CD player with Bluetooth phone. Pandora. android. Blackberry. and i Phone connectivity. (has a switch under the drivers dash to cut out the factory AM/FM radio and use the Sony Radio)
Also. has a metal glove box which is more convenient for storing things than the original cardboard boxes (which can be easily removed and replaced with an aftermarket cardboard glove box if you wanted to.
Note: Car currently has a 1971 Grille on it (because it looks better). MOPAR performance valve covers. MOPAR performance starter.
For everything that was replaced. I have the original parts which come with the car (with the exception of the Carb)
So that includes the original (repainted) valve covers. original (not restored) grille. original refurbished starter. original air cleaner. and a few more little components. Thus. the car can be brought back to 100% original shape easily. but I preferred the looks of the valve covers and the '71 grille.
No visible rust on car **originally a California car**. however. there is a little paint bubbling on the passenger side rear fender.
**Pictures included showing numbers matching block. transmission. and car label plate**
**Note: Since it's an early model 1972. it still had the dual hood scoops and has the better 340 engine in it**
Label plate reads:
