1974 DeTomaso Pantera Barn Find Rare Factory Color Offered by Gas Monkey Garage for sale

1974 De Tomaso Pantera 16. 84 Original miles Rare Original factory paint. Actual Barn Find!The result of an Argentinian racing driver Alejandro
De Tomaso. Italian engineering and American Muscle borrowed from the Mustang (351 Cleveland V 8) and the GT 40 (ZF fully synchronized 5 Speed Transaxle). The Pantera represents a unique partnership between an Italian coach builder and the Ford Motor Company combining Exotic Italian styling with a reliable . asily serviced Ford engine. This example was found having been stored in a barn for 30+ years. Rare Factory paint (only 188 produced in Orange) is in good condition showing minor chips & scratches from being enjoyed as one should in an exotic vehicle with this much performance. The interior is fair condition (it needs some love)with wear from being a 40 year old exotic ( see all pics).
The previous owner has removed the carb for reasons unknown (the original intake and carb are included) The clutch for the 5 speed transaxle needs attention (the clutch pedal is non-responsive and goes to the floor. hydraulics?).
This Pantera needs work in order to perform as it should and due to our filming schedule we cannot do any additional work. There is some rust on the bottom of the rear inner fender panels that doesn't appear to be structural (see pics) This will be seen on an upcoming episode of the hit show Fast N Loud. The winning bidder will have the option of taking delivery on the show. You won't find a better original Pantera project (how many have you seen with the original air cleaner & valve covers?) & this one is priced to sell.
