FOR SALE: 1928 Durant D-60 Sedan.
EXTREMELY RARE CAR.
Durants were only built between 1920-1930.
100% original. numbers matching car.
Beautiful. completely original condition.
NO RUST.
NO Bondo.
Chrome & Glass are all perfect.
Several small dings / minor dents--small enough / tiny enough to never be re-worked or repaired.
As far as we know the car has never been repainted and retains it's original patina.
Extremely well taken care of always garaged. and well-maintained.
The car spent the last 40 years in a private NM museum. driven in parades and Lions Club functions yearly.
Will need carb cleaned and fuel tank. (we have a new tank for the car). installed. and brakes checked before it can be returned to the street.
Last driven in 4 th of July parade. 2006.
Car is currently garaged. and not running.
Gas tank was drained and removed for storage as was fuel lines and carb.
Motor is in perfect mechanical condition.
New flywheel. clutch and pressure plate all balanced and rebuilt as new.
Documentation: We have title to the car and we have all documentation on the car.
This particular car has a very colorful history. having once been owned by the Governor of Oklahoma.
The car started life in the Dakota's. moving down through Oklahoma and down into New Mexico. and finally Central Texas.
The car is located at our home in Central Texas. 55 minutes North NE of Austin. 14 miles West of Temple. TX in Harker Heights. TX 76548.
