1935 Austin Seven Pearl Cabriolet type AC British

Up for sale is this 1935 Austin Seven Pearl Cabriolet type AC. I took this car in on trade and the previous owner bought the car after it sat in an enclosed shipping container from overseas since 1972. Everything about the car appears to be original and in really good shape. This is a right side drive car and gets a lot of attention riding down the road. I got the car running and driving and it goes down the road at 45 mph with no problems. It does have an issue shifting into 1 st and 2 nd gear. but 3 rd. 4 th and reverse all work well. I removed the inspection plate on the transmission and it looks like the syncros are worn out. There is no damage to the gears and there were no metal shavings in the transmission fluid. Double clutching seems to help when trying to shift into 1 st and 2 nd. The trunk needs the latch and handle. as it is held up now with wire. I cleaned the fuel tank and disassembled and cleaned the fuel pump. but it still dribbles a little fuel. I have been using a small gravity feed tank to cruise around town. The top also rolls back easily and its really neat to ride around with the top back. The tires have held air for over three months and I haven't had any problems with them while driving. The brakes work well and I also changed the spark plugs and oil before I cranked the car. It starts up first time. every time and runs great! The only thing it really needs are new syncros in the transmission and a few minor pieces and you can ride this awesome car to the local cruise in. It really is a blast to drive and it is an attention getter. The luggage rack folds into the trunk and it also comes with a spare tire/wheel. It is very rare to see one of these cars in the US and I have heard not many of them exist. The car comes with a bill of sale and all of the original shipping documents I received with the car when I purchased it. A $500 dollar deposit is required 24 hours after the end of the auction and full payment within 72 hours. I will be out of town from June 12-15. so it will need to be picked up before or after those dates. I can help with shipping the car within the US or overseas at your expense.
