For sale 1957 Messerschmitt kr 200 completely restore. Car was submerge in an alkaline tank tank to removed the paint and take it to the bare metal it was not sand blasted as this will create metal pitting and as you know it is twice as expensive to do the alkaline. After the car was taken to the metal it was prime with an epoxy primer then a 2 K primer was done and painted in a single stage the same way it came from factory with original teal color . or dose of you that look for concourse car know this is the right way to do it. The interior were completely redone I purchase from a gentlemen in France that only does Messerschmitt interiors to original specs. The engine was completely rebuilt by Longs the best Sachs mechanic in the United States to full original specs. The electrical wire ring was completely redone and the black box was send to Germany to do a full restoration as you know it is extremely important for the proper car functioning. A new convertible top was made locally but the metal on the roof was not perforated in case you will like to install a clear dome. All the brakes . ubbers . lines . mblems . rims were replace . This car has not been driven on the streets it is a show car a trailer queen . ngine starts immediate i start the car once a week to keep it running. New steering redone in Germany. New white wall tires including the spare tire. Need to make space for my new Peel P 50. I even went to a machine shop and had the nuts that hold the dome made . they are round with a slot to keep it as original as possible since no one sells this nuts. Any micro car collector would know this car was done properly Please don't bid if you don't have the funds. Will help with loading of the car to a trailer if need to . Car tittle is on hand available for transfer.
