                                                BODY & PAINT
The Body on this 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe 5 Door Wagon is Excellent!  This car was born and raised in Southern California and it would spend it's entire left on the West Coast before recently coming to Pennsylvania.  We just don't see early Toyota's here on the East Coast or I should say that we don't see early Toyota's anywhere near as clean & original as this 1977 Corona Deluxe 5 Door Wagon.  The Corona Wagon has an incredible body with no signs of any rust on the body or the chassis. just a super solid Original Southern California car that is wearing it's Original Factory Applied Yellow Paint that was laid on this Corona Wagon back in May of 1977.  When you first see this Corona Wagon. it's hard to believe that the car is wearing it's factory Original paint from 1977 but as you look the car over closely. you can see that the paint is original and quite nice.  The Original Paint on this Corona Deluxe Wagon looks very nice and aside from some minor stone chips and minor nicks from 36 years of driving. there are no issues with the paint. The paint looks very nice! The Paint looks nice from the Front of the Hood to the Rear Tailgate with no real issues anywhere. Take a look at the Door Jambs and you'll see just how nice the paint is after 36+ years.  It's unlikely that you'd find another 1977 Corona Deluxe Wagon with Original Factory applied paint that looks as nice as the paint on this car.   Don't get me wrong. it's not without it's share of little nicks and chips but the paint on this Corona Wagon still looks outstanding after 36+ years. The only paint work that's been done to this Corona Wagon is on the rear Tailgate which had some light corrosion around the rear window weatherstripping which is very common issue on these Toyota Wagons & Liftbacks. This was professionally repaired and the tailgate was painted in the correct Code 528 Yellow which was color matched to perfection. The rest of the car is wearing it's Original Factory Applied Code "528" Yellow Paint and it looks really nice and I can't imagine that there are many of these 1977 Corona Wagon's left.  let alone nice clean Originals Paint cars. The body on this Corona Deluxe Wagon is Excellent!  The car shows no signs of any collision or accident damage anywhere and the body panel fit and finish is quite nice.  The Doors open and close quite nicely and the same goes for the Tailgate. The Original Dash Mounted Hood Release still works exactly as it should and the fit and finish on the Hood. Fenders and Front Bright-Work is quite nice.  The Body lines are nice throughout the Wagon and everything is exactly as it should be some 36+ years after this Corona Wagon was first sold to it's original owner.  The Body is incredibly straight and about the only thing I can say about the body is that there are 3 little dings on the entire body. amazing for any car let alone a car that was driven regularly over the course of 36 years.  There are 2 little tiny dings on the lower section of the passenger side quarter panel that you have to be on your hands and knees to see.  I had to look the car over really hard before I was able to find any dings and I assure you that you will do the same. This Corona Wagon has a truly amazing original body and paint!  The Original Chrome & Trim on this Toyota Wagon is very nice. The Original Bumpers have very nice Original Chrome with a wonderful shine. The Original "Corona" emblems on the quarter panels are beautiful with super nice chrome.  The Grill & Headlight Bezels are quite nice as is the Original emblem in the Center of the grill.  The Factory Door Handle on each Door have amazing Original Chrome with an outstanding shine and no signs of any pitting or problems.  The Original Stainless Steel Rocker Moldings are beautiful.  The Roof Drip Rail Trim that runs the perimeter of the Roof Drip Rail and down along the Front Windshield "A" Pillars are beautiful and the same goes for the Stainless Moldings that runs along the top of the Doors and along the lower section of the Wagon's long rear side windows. all Super Nice!   The Original Taillight Bezels have gorgeous Original Chrome and look as though they are a year old rather than nearly 37 years old.  The Complete Taillight Assemblies including the Taillight Lenses are very Nice.   The Front Fender Mounted Side Marker Lights with their Amber Lenses are very nice with beautiful Chrome Bezels and the Rear Quarter Panel Mounted Side Marker Lights with their Red Lenses are both very Nice.  The Tailgate has a truly wonderful piece of Trim that is very Decorative as well as serving as the Housing for the Tailgate Lock Assembly and also houses the Twin License Plate Lamps.  This piece of Trim has Outstanding Original Chrome all around the Perimeter while it's center section has a Silver/Gray Pebble Finish and the entire Tailgate Trim Panel looks amazing!  It not only looks amazing but it works properly with the Tailgate Lock working just as it should and the two License Plate Lamps working just as they should.  The little "TOYOTA" emblem on the right side of the Tailgate is very nice with clean original Chrome.   The Chrome on the Optional Factory Installed Roof Rack is very nice and looks great although it does show the slightest of pitting on the mounting stands. very minor but I felt I should mention it.  The Optional Toyota Locking Gas Cap has exceptionally nice Original chrome and the locking gas cap works exactly as it should.  This 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe Wagon has a Super Nice. Rock Solid. Rust Free Body with very Nice Original Chrome & Trim and the Original Yellow Paint is very attractive overall with no real issues.   You would be hard pressed to find another 1977 Toyota Corona Wagon in such nice Original Survivor condition. They are nearly impossible to find in any condition these days so finding one that's been religiously maintained. garaged from new and always kept super clean is a real treat. You just can't find Original Survivors like this 77 Corona Wagon. beautiful original and always loved. hopefully it's next owner will treat it the same as it's been over the last 36+ years.   We are just caretakers of these Classic cars and as Classic car enthusiast. it is our job to preserve these Cool Original Classics for the next generation of Classic car enthusiast!
                                                                                                  INTERIOR
The Interior in this 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe Station Wagon is very nice and very original! The Original Factory Oak Vinyl Bench Seat interior is clean from the Dash all the way back to the Factory carpeted Cargo area.  There are only a couple of issues with this Corona Wagon's original interior and they are quite minor considering that it's a 36 year old original interior. The Front Seat does have a couple of seams which have opened but they are not very noticeable and would be an easy fix if you choose to have it repaired. The rest of the interior is about as nice as it gets for an original interior.  The Rear Seat is perfect.  The seats look nice and clean as does the entire interior and as you'll see from the pictures there is minimal wear. The Original Door Panels are super nice as you can see in the pictures. The Original Carpeting and Original Kick Panels show nicely and are in very nice Original condition.  The Dash Pad looks very nice from one end to the other and appears to have been professionally restored/recovered. The Original Headliner and Original Sun Visors are very nice.  The Headliner is amazing considering that these Headliners would often sag or start to deteriorate after these many years but it's not the case with this Wagon's headliner which looks super nice with no rips or tears and has a nice clean overall appearance. The Instrumentation and all of the Dash Components are in very good condition with absolutely everything working as it should except for the Cigarette Lighter which is kind of ironic because the car was owned by non smokers so there is no smell of cigarettes and there are none of the usual little burns on the seats. carpets or the dash.  There is an alternative Power Source that the Original Owner installed under the Dash which I believe was used for Charging their Phone and they did a nice job. it's just a simple charging port like you would find on most new cars these days.  Everything on the Dash works as it should from the Speedometer. Odometer. Gas Gauge. Water Temperature Gauge. Heater/Defroster and even the Original Electric Clock keeps good time.  The Dash Lights all come on when you first turn the key on to the Accessory position and the annoying Bright Red "DOOR" Light stays on anytime that one of the doors open. The intermittent or Delayed Windshield Wipers work as they should as does the Original Windshield Washer.  The Wagon has a New Retro Stereo in the Dash and it fits perfectly in the Original Radio location with no alterations or damage to the original dash.  This Radio is Nice as it shows the Channel. Name of the Song Playing and the Name of the Musician along with a Clock.  This Radio has a USB/Iphone Hook-Up and a New Dash Speaker. If your looking for more sound then you can simply install more speakers but I just didn't want to cut anything so I chose to leave it as it is. The Dash Lights all work as they should on everything from the Instrument Cluster to the Heater Controls.  All Lights and Signals work as they should from the 4 Body Side Marker Lights found in the front fenders and rear quarter panels to the Original License Plate Lamps found on the Tailgate. The Taillights. Parking Lights. Brake Lights. Turn Signals. 4 Way Flashers. Headlight High & Low Beams and Reverse Lights all work as they should and even the Rear Cargo area Courtesy Light works properly. The Front Dome Light is not working although it could be as simple as needing a new bulb. The Instrument Cluster Lights all come on when you first Turn the Ignition to the Accessory position and then they go out once the car is running. The annoying Key/Ignition Buzzer works as it should.  The Parking Brake and the Parking Brake Warning Light still work as they should and the same goes for the Inside Hood Release.  The Horn works just fine from the Steering Wheels Horn Ring which has 3 little pads which all get the horns screaming.  The Headliner in this Corona Wagon is very nice as are all of the cars interior trim pieces including the Original Plastic Floor mounted Sill Plates.  The Original Toyota Seat Belts are all is place and working as they should in the front and rear with the Front Belts retracting as they should.   The Cargo Area is Exceptionally clean with very nice original trim and super nice original carpeting.  The Original Interior Sill Plates are in very good original condition and they keep the nice original carpeting in place along with the nice original Kick panels.  The Original Sun Visors are in good original condition as is the Original Day/Night Rearview Mirror.  The Glovebox opens and closes easily to reveal the Original(PIO) Option Sheet which is glued to the inside of the glovebox and the original Owners Manual & Warranty Manuals can be found inside the Glovebox along with service records.   The Windows roll up and down as they should with no problems and the Doors Lock and Unlock with the Keys.  The Tailgate opens easily and will Lock & Unlock with the Key.   The Rear Seat Folds Down to make for one nice big Cargo Area and it takes no more than 10 seconds to lower the seat or to put it back up in the Locked Position for Rear Seat Passengers.   The Original Passenger Side Front Grab Bar is still in place along the passenger side front of the Headliner just above the door glass and it helps your passengers to get in and out of the Corona Wagon.  Just a cool idea and interesting to see this cool option is something other than a truck or SUV.   The Rear Cargo area has a storage door on the drivers side rear which opens and closes with a simple locking mechanism and inside that Storage area you will find the Wagon's Original Toyota Jack Assembly along with the Original Toyota Tool Kit and Tool Kit Storage Bag.   These parts are in excellent condition and they don't appear to have seen much use.   The Glass in this Corona Wagon is Excellent with no signs of any serious scratches if any and there are no chips or cracks in any of the Windows.  The Rear Tailgate Window has the Original Rear Window Defroster which works just as it should from the drivers side lower Dash Mounted Switch.  It works perfectly and will clear up the Tailgate Glass quite quickly as it did for me on Saturday morning when we woke up to our first frost of the year.  I had the Wagon parked in my driveway rather than my garage because I had to get an early start on Saturday and I was taking the Corona Wagon on a good Roadtrip to see my Father who happens to be a diehard Toyota fan.  Well I am happy to say that the Corona Wagon was an absolute pleasure to drive on the 200 mile round-trip and it cruises nicely at 65 mph-70mph which seems to be this cars sweet spot if you know what I mean. The Corona Wagon just seemed as though it was running & driving perfectly at those speeds and neither the engine or transmission seemed as though they were under any strain at 65-70 mph . just super smooth driving down the Pennsylvania Turnpike!    This Toyota has an amazing body that's not only rock solid but it's as straight as an arrow.  The car shows absolutely no signs of previous accident damage or any type of collision repairs.  The Original interior is very clean and if not for the slight wear on the drivers side of the Bench Seat. it would be darn near perfect.  It's an Original 1977 Corona Wagon and it's been well cared for which is quite obvious even after looking at the car for just a few minutes. it's really a nice and exceptionally original Corona Wagon.

                                            ENGINE / TRANSMISSION
The Corona Wagon is equipped with Toyota's bullet-proof 2. 2 Litre 20R 4 Cylinder SOHC engine which is one of the most durable and reliable engines ever produced. The engine runs really well with no unusual noises and runs as smooth as could be.  It is not uncommon for these engines to go in excess of 200. 00/3000. 00 Miles without any major issues.  The engine fires right up when it's cold with the Choke operating as it should and once the engines warmed up. the engine drops right down and settles to a nice smooth idle.  The engine runs exactly as a good Toyota 20R engine should with no unusual noises and no problems with smoking. These Toyota 20R engines will run forever with the most basic of maintenance. They just need to have Oil Changes on a regular basis and they will run forever!   The engine in this Toyota Corona runs Excellent and sounds great and provides plenty of power to drive this car anywhere.  It starts easily even when it's cold and runs beautifully. nice and smooth and the more you drive it. the better the engine seems to run.  I recently had the Corona out for a 200 mile round-trip and the car cruised comfortably at 65-70 mph up and down the Pennsylvania Turnpike. When I got home. the car seemed to be running better than it had before the long trip and it was running just fine before the trip. go figure.  I guess this little Toyota just loves to be driven which seems to be the case with most Classic cars.  They just love to be driven!   I'm guessing that the Wagon needed a good long run and that drive up and down the Pennsylvania Turnpike was exactly what she needed.  Before that 200 mile trip. the Wagon was just being driven short distances. running around town and doing errands and the Wagon wasn't really getting a chance to stretch it's legs so to speak.  The engine runs great with absolutely no problems and no unusual noises or smoke. just sounds exactly as you'd expect a Toyota with the ever reliable 20R engine to sound and runs every bit as good!   When the original owner sold this car back in early 2011 it ended up with a Classic car dealer.  When he got the car. he noticed a couple of minor leaks which is typical of these Toyota's after 30+ years so he had all of the engine gaskets replaced to avoid any future problems with shrinking or deteriorating gaskets.  He also installed some new Frontend Bushings along with new Front Sway-Bar Links and Sway Bar Bushings and some new shock absorbers which can be seen under the front of the car.  The engine not only runs great but it's very clean under the hood with everything looking exactly as it should and everything in it's correct Original location.  There are so many cool things about this Corona Wagon such as the Original Toyota Paper Part Tags that are still attached to the wiring harnesses under the hood and the Original Decals and Factory Paint markings on the Original Power Brake Booster. The Original Smog Pump is still in place and looks excellent and the car passed the very strict California Emissions test which says a lot for the way that this engine runs.   The Original engine compartments Yellow Paint still looks very nice on the Original Inner Fenders and on the Firewall. The Original Toyota Metal Identification Tag is still attached to the Firewall with all of the cars crucial information such as the engine & transmission codes. Original Body & Frame Numbers. Original Paint & Interior Trim Codes and the Matching Vin Number is stamped into the Firewall just above the Original Identification Tag.  It's all of the little things that show you so much about the care and maintenance that this Corona Wagon has received over the last 36 years.  The engine compartment still sports the Original Toyota Radiator which is in excellent condition and the Original Metal Fan Shroud is still in place.  The Under Hood Insulation Pad is still attached to the underside of the Hood & is in good condition. The engine compartment is a bit of a time capsule and if you take some time to look over the pictures then you'll see exactly what I mean. It's just one of those cars that's never been messed with and everything under the Hood has that Factory Original appearance with absolutely no major changes over the last 36 years.  The engine compartment sports a new Battery and new fuel filter. new Spark Plug Wires. New Distributor Cap. New Spark Plugs. Newly upgraded Electronic Ignition Kit with a Performance Coil for easier cold starts and better all around performance.  This engine has been religiously maintained and it shows by the way it runs and looks.  The Transmission is the Optional 3 Speed Automatic Transmission which also has a reputation for being bullet-proof.  The Transmission shifts perfectly with absolutely no issues and everything works exactly as it should including passing gear so when you need a little more power for passing. you simply push down onto the Gas Pedal and the Transmission quickly shifts into passing gear giving you all of the passing power you'll need.  The Transmission just couldn't shift any better and it has no leaks or problems.   The Steering in the Corona Wagon is a real pleasure. sure it's Manual Steering but it's not a super big car so the Manual Steering is nice and easy to use. The car steers beautifully with no unusual vibrations whether your cruising around town or driving down the Highway. The car steers easily and my wife had no trouble driving the car and she had never driven a car with Manual Steering in her life.   It's just an easy car to drive.   The car is equipped with Power Disc Brakes and it stops on a dime.  The car has new Front and Rear Brakes. New Wheel Cylinder. New Rear Axle Bearings and all of the fluids were recently changed.  The Corona Wagon has a nice set of Matching Radial Tires which have 80% of their Tread left. The Spare Tire mounts under the rear of the car in it's original cradle and is in excellent condition. The exhaust sounds fine with no unusual noises and after looking at the Exhaust. I believe that it may still be the Original Factory installed exhaust system!   This Toyota Corona Wagon is ready to drive anywhere with confidence.

                                            ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Absolutely everything in this 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe Wagon works exactly as it should with the exception of the Original Cigarette Lighter. All of the Gauges including the Speedometer. Odometer. Gas Gauge. Water Temperature Gauge. Electric Clock. Horn. 4 Way Flashers. Intermittent Windshield Wipers & Washers. Annoying Ignition Key Buzzer. Dash Lights. Heater/Defroster. Rear Window Defroster. Headlights Both High & Low Beams. Parking Lights. Brake Lights. all 4 Fender Mounted Side Marker Lights. Turn Signals work and Cancel properly when you return from a turn. License Plate Light works. Reverse Lights work. All Dash Lights work as well as the Lights for the Heater Controls. Cigarette Ashtrays have never been used in the Dash or in the Backside of the Front Seat for Rear Seat Passengers. NEVER SMOKED IN! The only thing not working in this 1977 Corona Deluxe Wagon is the Lighter but the Original Owner installed an extra Power Source socket which was mounted under the Dash for use with charging your Phone or your Laptop.   It's just a nice piece to have with the original Cigarette Lighter not working and lets face it. those old Cigarette Lighters from the 70's weren't exactly intended for use with charging Smart Phones or Computers so the power source under the Dash was a great idea.   There isn't much more to say about the cars electrical components or it's accessories as everything is working as it should with no problems.

STEERING / BRAKES / SUSPENSION The 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe 5 Door Wagon drives. steers and stops exactly as a car like this should. There are absolutely no known problems concerning the cars Steering. Brakes or Suspension.  It's a wonderful driving car that anyone can drive with ease and comfort. The Wagon has recent Brake Shoes on the Rear along with New Wheel Cylinders and New Axle Bearings & Wheel Bearings and there are new Brake Pads on the front.  The car drives. steers and stops exactly as it should whether your driving around town or cruising down the Highway with no known issues.  The only thing I noticed on the long drive up the Turnpike was a little air noise around the front doors which is from the Original Weather-Stripping which looks great but have likely shrunk up a bit over the last 36 years.   There are no real complaints with the way that this Corona Wagon runs. shifts. steers. stops or drives down the road.  It's just a wonderful little Cruiser that's a lot of fun to drive and very efficient overall with great gas mileage and very little to do in the way of maintaining the car.  These cars will run forever with the incredibly durable 20R engine and the ultra-reliable 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. They are known among Classic Toyota enthusiast as being trouble-free drivers and I would think that this Corona Deluxe Wagon can go another 36 years with just basic maintenance and a little care.
                                               MISCELLANEOUS
This 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe 5 Door Wagon is a Nice Original Survivor that's been well cared for over the last 36 years. The Wagon has an amazing body with no rust issues and no accident damage.  The Body is dead straight with nothing more than a couple of minor door dingd throughout the entire car.  The Original Paint looks very nice. In fact the paint looks so nice that it's really hard to believe that it's the original factory applied paint until you take a good look at the car and then you can see that it has it's minor imperfection and just the right patina for a well maintained original car.  The Toyota Corona Wagon's 20R 4 Cylinder engine runs beautifully and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. There are no mechanical issues with this Corona Wagon that I'm aware of and I have driven the car both around town and for long rides down the Interstate and Turnpike and the Corona Wagon performed flawlessly.  The car has a nice Original interior with minimal wear and it's quite comfortable to drive. There are no major issues anywhere on or in this Corona Wagon. The Wagon has recent Brakes all around. complete tune-up. new axle bearings. new front suspension & sway bar bushings. new battery and the engine was treated to all new gaskets as preventive maintenance after 30+ years of reliable service.  The Corona Wagon's electrical components are in excellent working order with absolutely no issues whatsoever outside of the Original Cigarette Lighter not working properly. Every Light. Signal and Accessory works exactly as it should and all of the Gauges and even the Original Electric Clock work as they should. The Wagon has a nice set of matching 185/75R-14 Radial Tires and the Original Spare is still mounted up under the Rear of the Wagon in it's Original Cradle.  The Wagon has a nice clean Cargo area and beautiful carpeting from front to rear. The Rear Seat folds down to make for a nice big Cargo area that's large enough for toting around your groceries or whatever you might want to use it for.  It's far bigger than you might imagine considering that these Wagon's were considered Compact cars but keep in mind that the Corona was the largest of the Toyota Passenger cars made in 1977 and was considered to be it's flagship car.  The Corona still has it's Original Jack with the Original Tool Bag which mounts securely in the Drivers side Rear Cargo area trap door and everything is complete and quite clean.  The car has very nice Glass from the Windshield to the Rear Tailgate Glass and all of the side glass is very nice. The Windows all roll up and down easily with no problems. The Doors Open & Close nicely and Lock & Unlock with the Original Keys.  The Corona Wagon has nice Original Chrome and Trim starting at the Bumpers which have beautiful Original Chrome. The Taillight Bezels and the Decorative Chrome Tailgate Mounted License Plate Retainer are in nice condition with nice clean shiny original chrome. The License Plate Bar that runs across the Tailgate is a really nice piece and it doubles as the License Plate Lamp retainer. It has 2 license plate lamps in this piece which light the license plate up nicely in the evening.  The Original Roof Rack is in good shape with nice original chrome. obviously not new chrome but a very nice Original Roof Rack that is an excellent place for storing your luggage on a long trip with the Cargo area loaded up or a great place for moving larger objects that you don't want in the Wagons interior.  The Original Window Trim is in good Original condition and on the front of the car. there is a beautiful Factory New Old Stock Original Toyota Antenna that was installed by the cars previous owner.
                                                     OVERVIEW
This 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe 5 Door Wagon is a great original car!  The Wagon has an outstanding rust-free original body that is dead straight with no collision damage or any panel replacement. just a great original body with just a couple of tiny little dings on the entire car and you have to look quite hard to find them.  It is truly an outstanding original car in my opinion and finding a 70's Vintage Toyota Wagon in this condition is a real treat as they are rarely seen. The Wagon spent it's entire life on the West Coast until I brought the car to Pennsylvania.  The car appears to have been garage kept through it's entire life which is obvious by the condition of the body and the beautiful original paint.  The Corona Wagon runs beautifully with it's super reliable 2. 2 litre 20R engine and the optional 3 Speed Automatic Transmission shifts perfectly. The Corona drives nicely around town or on the Highway and is smooth as could be at 70 mph.  The car drives. stops and steers as it should with no real issues.  The Original Trim and Chrome is very nice. All of the cars Glass is very nice and clear with no issues.  The Doors all open and close nicely and lock and unlock with the keys.  The Wagon has a nice set of Matching Tires that look like they have at least 70% Tread of better. they actually look like they are fairly new!  The Wagon has a very nice Original Interior that shows little wear after 36+ years and the interior has a very nice clean Original appearance throughout.  The Cargo area is super clean and the Original Jack & Tool Kit are sitting in their original factory installed location in the drivers side rear storage area.   The Spare is located under the rear of the car and is sitting in place in it's original cradle and both the Spare Tire/Wheel and Original Cradle have a nice clean appearance.  The car shows no rust on the body or undercarriage and the Wagon was Factory undercoated which is always helpful with these older cars.  The car is a nice clean Original Paint Survivor car that runs and drives beautifully and needs nothing to be enjoyed just how she is.  I would have no problem getting into this Corona Deluxe Wagon and driving it anywhere. It's just a real good original that runs. drives. steers and stops as it should.  The cars electrical components and all of it's original accessories work exactly as they should including the in Dash Clock.  There are not many negatives to talk about with this 1977 Corona Wagon. The only things I could mention are that the front Bench seat has a couple of seams that are opened and would be an easy repair and there is one piece of plastic trim on the interior that has a crack. besides that. there are no real issues with the interior or the rest of the car for that matter.  It's one of the nicest Original Survivor quality Toyota Wagons that I have ever seen.  The last 36+ years have been very kind to this wonderful little Wagon and the love and care that it received over those 36 years are quite obvious by the cars incredibly nice original condition.   This is not a brand new 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe Wagon but it is one of the nicer Originals that you will likely find. This is a 75. 98 Original Mile car as per the writing of this auction and I will continue to have some fun with the car until the auction ends.  I hope that one of you guys can appreciate this cars overall condition and the fact that you just don't see 1977 Corona Deluxe Wagon's for sale everyday let alone a wonderful Original Survivor.  There will be no disappointments with the purchase of this 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe 5 Door Station Wagon. The High Bidder should contact me within 24 hours of the auctions end.  I will take a deposit through Paypal but the balance should be paid in full within 5 days of the auctions end by way of bank wire transfer. certified or cashiers check. personal check or good old greenbacks if you plan on picking the Wagon up in person within 7 days.  If you use the buy it now then I will require an immediate deposit of $300.  I strongly suggest that you come and see the Toyota Corona Wagon in person if your able so feel free to call me if you would like to come and take a look at the car before the end of the auction.   If your unable to come and see the car yourself then your welcome to have one of your car pals come out to inspect the car for you or you can always hire one of the many Classic car inspection services to come and look the car over for you.  This is a great way to get a little peace of mind before you spend your hard earned money.  These guys will come out and look the car over and photograph the car for you and literally go over the entire car for you and they will send you pictures along with a report of their findings. Like I said. a great way to get a little peace of mind without spending a lot of money.      If you just want to call me then I would be happy to go over the entire car panel by panel and will give you a brutally honest description over the phone.  I did this for a gentleman about 10 years ago when I was selling my 1958 Buick Riviera Hardtop Survivor and he later told me that it was the most thorough and honest description that he had ever received on a Classic car.  He was from Washington State and when he received the car. he said that he looked it over and then immediately called me to tell me just how happy he was with the car and that my description was spot on.   This guy owned and operated one of the largest Classic car restoration shops in Washington State and he paid me the highest compliment when he told me that my description was dead on and that all Ebay Sellers should be as thorough as I was with his 58 Buick.    The point. feel free to call me and I will go over every single body panel and every piece of trim. glass. interior parts. etc etc.   I want the new owner to be happy with his or her purchase.       Please take a look at my feedback and you'll see that I have been an active Ebay trader for nearly 14 years and I have impeccable feedback.   I take great pride in my feedback and plan on keeping my 100% Positive Rating so please ask questions before you bid.    I have been on the opposite end of an Ebay car deal many times and I know just how nerve wracking it can be so please ask questions and I will answer them honestly. no surprises!!!    The New Owner is responsible for all shipping expenses but I would be happy to assist you with Shipping arrangements.  I know several Reputable Insured Transport Professionals and they can pick the Corona Wagon up at my home and deliver it to your front door at a reasonable price. I also know some of the larger Transport Companies and can help you with shipping anywhere in the world.  Just give me a call if you need a shipping quote and I will help you from start to finish if need be.  Your also welcome to come out and drive this 1977 Toyota Corona Deluxe Wagon home if you'd like and I have no reservations about the cars ability to drive anywhere but with all old cars. you just never know what you might run into on a long road-trip.   I'm sure you could drive it anywhere but it if often less expensive to have the car shipped then it is to make a road-trip out of it although a long road-trip certainly sounds adventurous.  I have been on my share of long road-trips to pick up Classic cars over the last 35 years and some of them have been nothing but fun and others have been problematic like having a water pump go on you in the middle of nowhere on the way back from Minnesota on a holiday weekend. oh what fun. lol lol.     Anyway. like I said. your welcome to come out and drive the Toyota Corona Wagon home as long as I'm paid within 7 days of the auctions end but I always feel better shipping cars that are nearly 40 years old or older.  That's just me.  It's usually cheaper and you don't have to worry about some small part going in the middle of nowhere.       Please feel free to email or call me if you need a shipping quote or just call me if you would like to ask some questions or talk about the car.   Thanks again. Tony 215-499-2693        PS. THIS AUCTION CAN END AT ANYTIME AND FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT NOTICE SO IF YOUR SERIOUSLY INTERESTED IN THIS NICE ORIGINAL SURVIVOR 1977 TOYOTA CORONA DELUXE WAGON THEN CALL ME. THANKS AGAIN. YOU'LL NOTICE THE ORIGINAL   "PIO" DECAL WHICH IS CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CARS VIN NUMBER AND THE NUMBER OF THE TRUCKLOAD THAT ORIGINALLY DELIVERED THIS CAR TO THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DEALER BACK IN THE SPRING OF 1977.  THE "PIO" DECAL IS SUPPOSED TO BE LEFT IN PLACE ALWAYS OR AT LEAST THE DECAL CLEARLY SAYS " DO NOT REMOVE"  . THE PIO DECAL IS FOR "PORT INSTALLED OPTIONS" WHICH FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND IS OPTIONS THAT ARE SPECIFIC TO A CERTAIN PART OF THE COUNTRY AND MORE SIMPLE OPTIONS LIKE FLOOR MATS. RADIO'S AND SUCH ALTHOUGH THIS CAN BECOME QUITE CONFUSING AS MANY OF THE "PIO" OPTIONS CAN ALSO CROSS OVER INTO THE DEALER INSTALLED OPTION CATEGORY . A LITTLE TOO CONFUSING FOR ME AND APPARENTLY THIS IS STILL DONE TODAY WITH THE MANY NEW TOYOTA'S THAT ARE SOLD EACH YEAR AS MANY OF THESE "PIO" OPTIONS ARE SAID TO BE OPTIONS THAT ARE FORCED ON BUYERS AS PART OF AN OPTION GROUP PACKAGE. EITHER WAY. IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER. I JUST THOUGH IT WAS COOL THAT THIS ORIGINAL DECAL WAS STILL IN PLACE. MY 1980 TOYOTA CELICA GT SUNCHASER CONVERTIBLE SURVIVOR CAR HAD THE SAME DECAL AND I NEVER LOOKED INTO IT.  THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW TO LEARN WHEN IT COMES TO THESE CLASSIC CARS WHETHER YOU'VE BEEN IN THE HOBBY FOR 40 YEARS OR 4 MONTHS!ABOVE: THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE FRONT SEAT AS SHOWN WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR OPEN. IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME ON BOTH SIDES AND IS A FACTORY BODY LINE AS STRANGE AS IT MAY APPEAR.  WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS IN PERSON. I THOUGHT THERE WAS A DENT IN THIS AREA BUT AS I LOOKED AT THE BODY LINE ON THE INNER PART OF THE REAR DOORS ON BOTH SIDES. I COULD SEE THAT THESE WERE FACTORY BODY LINES. NO NEED TO WORRY GUYS. IT'S COMPLETELY ORIGINAL AND THERE IS NOT A DENT ANYWHERE ON THE BODY OF THIS WAGON. A COUPLE OF TINY DOOR DINGS BUT NOT A DENT ANYWHERE AND EVEN THOSE TINY DOOR DINGS MIGHT TAKE YOU A FEW DAYS TO FIND.  THIS CAR IS AMAZINGLY STRAIGHT AND FREE OF ANY DENTS OR COMMON DOOR DINGS BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER PARKED NEXT TO OTHER CARS.
