Description:   1963 FJ45LV. one of the very first LVs imported to the US.  We found this LV in Casper. WY where it had spent its entire life up to that point.  We brought it back to SC and completely overhauled it mechanically from top to bottom.  As you can see from the pictures. this LV has great patina and character that we fell in love with. so we decided to leave it as we found it by preserving its weathered state.  While the LV is mechanically sound. the body is in an unrestored state. as stated. and being an LV. it has rust issues that are visible in the pictures below.  The worst of it is in the rear quarters and rockers. especially the driver's side. Also the passenger rear wheel well has some damage from the POs run in with a tree.  The floors on the inside are solid throughout. but the driver's and passenger's floors did have new metal welded in.  Recently we took the LV on a off-road trip through Colorado where we used 4wd routes to follow the continental divide as closely as possible. criss-crossing the state on over 500 miles of the state's best trails.  The LV didn't skip a beat and performed marvelously; I would feel comfortable driving it anywhere.  Below I will cover the areas of the LV where we have completed work over the last year.

Suspension: - 2" Old Man Emu lift kit. included new springs. bushing. u-bolts. rear greaseable shackles.  - OEM Toyota shocks front and rear - 32x9. 50 TSL Super Swamper tires 75% tread is spare at 100%
Drivetrain: - All new brake cylinders front and rear - New brake pads front and rear. also had the drums turned - New dual circuit master cylinder - Rebuilt rear axle with new bearing and seals - Powertrax locker in the rear - New tire rod ends. rebuilt drag link. rebuilt center arm  -New clutch master and slave  -New clutch. pressure plate. throw out bearing. and the fly wheel was resurfaced  -New seals in the transmission  -Rebuilt transfer case and braking brake  -PTO winch with Ramsey head and rebuilt Toyota PTO gear box  -New alternator. internally regulated  -New pointless distributor  -New 2F carburetor   -Radiator has been flushed and boiled  -New thermostat  -Gas tank boiled   -Driveshafts have new u-joints front and rear  -New exhaust front manifold back  -New battery Interior: -Spector Offroad seat covers and new foam underneath -Spector Offroad headliner -Spector Offroad fire wall insulator -Pioneer Stereo 6" speaker upfront 6x9" in rear -The floors we sprayed in Lizard skin -The floors. doors. firewall. rear quarter panels. and tailgate were lined with Fat Mat sound deadener -Custom diamond plate rubber floor mats
Misc. :  -Electrically everything works. all gauges. lights. horns. wipers. etc  -Reproduction factory fog lights  -New OEM turn signals  -New OEM fuse junction blocks  -LED lights in gauges. indicator lights. and turn and brake signals  -New driver and passenger seat belts  -Period correct reproduction hubcaps
Summary:  The LV runs and drives flawlessly; you won't be disappointed.  It is truly is one-of-a-kind and turns heads everywhere we go.  I have done my best to include all work done and any issues. but I am sure I have left some things out.  So please ask questions.  I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
