Welcome to my eBay auction!  What you see today for your consideration is one of the rarest and most interesting Subaru finds out there.   This is the RX All Wheel Drive Turbo Coupe.   I mean wow!  This is really the first of a breed of cars to revolutionize the rally world for Subaru.   So many of the modern performance pieces available today are visible in this early predecessor.   All Wheel Drive. Turbo. Locking Differentials. This was absolutely a vehicle that was way ahead of its time.   I know they were shooting for futuristic; all you need to do is look at the vintage computer age wheel covers and “whiteout” color scheme.   Everywhere this car goes it is marveled by young and old alike.

The Subaru is 100% original.   Any replaced parts were replaced with factory equipment.   The RX has never had any crashes or repairs and is wearing 100% of its factory original paint.

The car is time capsule nice.   There are several stone chips on the nose but the rest of the exterior is very clean and perfectly shinny too.   The interior is minty.   It looks just like new inside.   Totally preserved and without flaw.   I sourced the radio knob that was missing at the time of the photos.

Mechanically. the car is very sound.   It starts instantly with no smoke.   The engine sounds good and has great power.   The turbo works properly and the light on the dash illuminates as it should too.   The clutch is strong and even with just an inch of freeplay at the top.   All the syncros are excellent too.

The brakes are strong and even and pulse free.   The tires are 60% or so.   The exhaust looks to be fairly new and factory Subaru including the cat.

Every light and gage and window regulator and wiper works properly.   The air conditioning blows ICE COLD.

Under the car I noticed a rip in the right front CV boot but it is operating fine.   Also there is oil residue on the transmission but is not leaking at present.   This vehicle is in the exact condition it was kept.   I did not clean or conceal anything.

Unless I have mentioned a fault. you can be safe to assume that there is no problem.   But if you want to know a specific detail that I have left out just call or write to me.   I think I have covered the big points though.
