 I can be reached at (6l9). 889. 9579. You will not find a more honest  old Chevy. California black plate survivor 1947 Chevrolet Stylemaster two door. 100% rust free and all original steel. Its never seen a day of snow or a salty road in its life. This is a very unique car with an amazing history behind it. It was purchased new by a soldier in 1946 when he returned from being overseas in World War II. He sent money home via silver dollars to his wife who stored them in Mason Jars buried in their backyard. When he finally came home they dug the money. The couple enjoyed the car throughout their lifetime together and he had it restored in 1978 for an anniversary present for his beloved wife. Cars like this only come around once in a lifetime. It would be nearly impossible to find another Style master with this history and in this kind of amazing condition.   
 The car was painted once to its original color. black. re-upholstered. and the engine rebuilt. It was only driven a handful of times and stored back in the garage at the end of 1978 after accumulating a whopping 40 miles after the work was completed. Fast forward to 2013 when the gentleman passed away at the age of 94.

The car was removed from the garage and mechanically gone through to make it ready for the road again. It now starts right up and idles smoothly. It is bone stock. It is a 216cu Inline six cylinder with a three speed manual transmission. It runs perfect and starts right up everytime. The body is excellent and rust free. The floorboards. frame. and trunk are excellent. The paint was done in 78 and is very nice but not brand new. The bumpers are good. The interior is excellent. I have the original radio but it is not installed. I have three sets of hubcaps that go with it. Original owner's manual. This is a really neat old car that I would rather see kept bone stock but it is up to the new owner. How often do you see a one owner. lifelong California Chevy like this?
