Vehicle Details

This is an original 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that has been sitting in a garage since the early 1990's. It is a factory 351C 2V V8. It does not have the original engine as the previous owner blew it up and replaced it with a 1972 or 1973 351C engine. We were told by the previous owner the engine was rebuilt. It has an aftermarket 4V aluminum intake with Holley 4V carburetor. It has roller rockers and we were told it has a Fireball camshaft and headers. The motor runs well but due the time sitting we are running it thru an auxiliary gas container as the gas tank is not usable. The transmission was replaced with a C6 automatic as it originally came with an FMX. It retains a 9 inch differential and has the factory rear sway bar. The prior owner welded in lower frame ties for extra support and added bolt on traction bars. The car has Blue Deluxe interior and the 3 spoke rim blow steering wheel. The sport lamp grille is complete with the lamps and mounting brackets. It has the typical rust in the floor pans, quarter panels, torque boxes, doors and trunk as well a variety of other places ( please see photos). It came equipped with drum brakes and power steering. The brakes currently do not work. It has an aftermarket automatic floor shifter. It has the original buck tag on the radiator support. This is a complete original Mach 1 that will need a restoration. The vehicle is available for inspection at our central NJ shop 6 days a week from 10am to 6pm by appointment. Full payment is required within 7 days of purchase.
