You are looking at a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 R Code, 428 Cobra Jet factory 4 speed car. This car is begging to be put back on the road. Factory wimbledon white with red interior and it looks great for its age. This is the type of car that I wouldn't restore, just get it running and drive it the way it is.

Factory Mach 1. Most of the paint on the car is original. Its been checked with a paint depth thickness gauge. The car only had a couple of options from the factory so when it was ordered, it was strictly ordered for the 428 Cobra Jet and the 4 speed.

Now lets breakdown the car by area and go over what is included and what is not.

Engine:

Currently the car does with a 428 police interceptor engine from a 68 GT500. Yes a real 1968 GT500 engine.

C scratch shortblock dated 7M

C8AE-H GT 14 bolt heads dated 8A

C7AE-9425-A Intake Manifold

Carburetor 428 Cobra Jet correct for 69 Mustang

Radiator correct for 428 Cobra Jet auto car.

This engine is assembled and is .30 over and would need gone through before install. It is complete and will be included with the car for buy it now price only.

Transmission:

4 Speed toploader big 1 3/8 input shaft, 31 spline output shaft

Body and Paint:

Most of the paint on the car is original. A few places here and there are not but I went over with a paint gauge and most of the paint is original. Car has the wrap around shock towers in great shape and the staggered shock plate in the rear. The shaker hood was removed because years ago the engine was a 2x4 setup. This hood is from another Mach 1 and is factory paint from what I can tell. I do have a shaker trim ring and scoop that will be included at buy it now price or otherwise negotiated  

The car has been preserved nicely. Frame rails front and rear and nice and solid. Torque boxes have a little rust beginning on the bottom but would all have to be replaced. Driver rear floor pan has some rust but other floor areas all look nice. Trunk floors are nice and solid. Battery tray and apron have rust, lower doors bubbling and lower driver quarter right behind the tire has a rust spot.

Interior:

The interior of the car seems to be all original and is in overall great shape. Driver door panel has some wear on it. Headliner is nice, has a rear folddown seat, and front seats are nice. Dash paid is nice with no cracks and its original. Please see the pictures.

VINS:

Has original dash tag, door tag, and buck tag.
