I purchased this truly magnificent Model T Roadster 3 years ago from the estate of a long-time collector/restorer of 1927 Ford Model T's in Willets, CA. I was told that it was restored years ago and driven very little afterward, being part of a 20-car Model T collection, and that the engine and transmissions were rebuilt as part of the frame-off restoration. A new magneto was also installed at that time and a new 6V battery was installed in 2019. It has been in my vintage car collection since 2018 and I have only driven it sparingly around the neighborhood. This beautiful car is in show ready condition and has two period-available novel accessories - a Warford Heavy Duty Six Speed Transmission and a Larger Drum Ruckstell Two-Speed Rear Axle, each with its own cab operated stick shift ( Operating Manuals Included). These two accessories alone are valued at over $6000. They are available from and can be seen at Lang's Old Car Parts (www.modeltford.com). They are in addition to and work in concert with the standard factory installed Ford 3-pedal planetary transmission. The steering wheel also has a 'Fat Man' tilt steering wheel bracket for easy entrance. Also included is a new, heavy duty custom fit car cover.I am now at an age where I have decided to begin thinning out my car collection and so this car is now once again available. Although the car runs like a top, the shipper should be told that it needs to be winched into the truck as the gas has been drained and most shippers are not Model T savvy. I am not at the same location as the car and so cannot drive it for the shipper.
