South Jersey Classics is pleased to present a clean, highly original, and fully-documented first generation 1966 Mustang Factory C-Code 289 V8 Coupe from New Jersey. It comes with original documentation from the original sale, including original bill of sale. This Mustang was born locally at Ford's Metuchen, New Jersey Plant on December 10th, 1965. The Mustang was purchased new just 5 days later at at Rice & Holman Ford in Pennsauken, New Jersey on December 15th, 1965. The sport coupe was sold new for the out the door price of $3,565.66. The Coupe is believed to have lived it's whole life in New Jersey. The car from the factory was finished with a rare factory original V Code Emberglo paint over the original 26 Code Black with Black Trim interior. The car was optioned with the C-Code 289 2V 8-Cylinder engine ($105), Power Brakes ($42), Power Steering ($84), AM Radio ($57), and Ford Air Conditioner with Heater ($309). It sports the factory Split-Bench Seat 6 passenger set up. It is powered the original 289ci/200hp 2bbl V8 with the original C4 Automatic transmission "Dual Range" Cruise-O-Matic and with it's factory 2.80:1 rear end gear ratio. There is a small seam separation on the driver seat that has been covered with tape.

Certified check, bank transfers, or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.

Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of purchase via eBay to secure the vehicle.

The remainder is due within 7 days If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

If the deposit is not received within 3 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
