EXTERIOR: Fit and finish is amazing on this car. I bought it down in Georgia, a collector I know looked at it for me, he insisted I bought it because of how sharp the paint is. The body is straight, fits right, no damage or rust. The bright red is polished out like red glass. It looks like every piece of exterior chrome has been replaced right down to the window frames and the wiper arm bases. The stainless moldings are polished like chrome, even the wiper arms. It has all new Bel Air trim. Radial white wall tires are on red rims with reproduction hubcaps and spinners

INTERIOR: It has been restored from carpet to the headliner. It has a 5-speed coming out of the floor. Seats have been rechusioned and reupholstered in the reproduction materials. The door panels are all new to match the seats. New armrests, window cranks and handles. Each door has power windows that move smoothly. In front of me is gleaming. The metal is painted as slick as the car. The steering wheel looks new. The trim and chrome is all replaced. It has a retro stereo with speakers in the kick panels. The new climate control panel looks like an original, air conditioning vents are neatly installed under the dash alongside temp and oil pressure gauges. It has seat belts in front. The headliner, visors, mirror and dome light are new.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a 327 motor with ProMax aluminum heads and on top is an Offenhauser Aluminum intake with tri-power carbs and chrome air cleaner covers. It has a new air conditioning and heat system. A big electric fan keeps the radiator cool. It is also updated from a generator to an alternator. New power brake system with dual reservoir master cylinder. Everything looks proper and complete. The battery is bolted down, it has horns, wiring is tidy.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal and painted just as slick as the outside- under the mat, bottom of the trunk lid and the jambs. The weatherstrip and seat divider were replaced. It has a white wall tire for a spare on a painted rim.

UNDERSIDE: It has been body off the frame restored. The chassis is done in black, the clean metal floors are all painted red. The front end has been apart and rebuilt. The bushings, hardware, springs, shocks look like they have all been replaced. It has new body bushings on the frame. In back it has new shocks and leaf springs. The fuel system was replaced including the tank, straps, fuel sending unit and fuel lines. The brake system was rebuilt, it has new brake lines and hoses. The e-brake assembly is complete. It has a dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is spotless Chevy orange, new motor mounts, fuel pump and rebuilt starter. It has a T5 5-speed trans. The driveshaft is restored, the rear end has been restored. Underneath this car is beautiful.

This is one slick 57! It is purdy anywhere you look. You could be a proud owner of something everyone will admire.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
