Today I am listing this very. very fine example of a non hot rodded 1935 Deluxe 3 Window Coupe. Model 48.  This car was purchased 5 years ago this month for my husband. who has since passed away.  It has always been garaged.  I had purchased a custom made cover. car mats. and wheel cover for this car. which will be included in the sale.  The previous owner did many updates to this car to modernize its driveability. Examples of his updates are as follows: 49 Mercury flathead Canadian engine with Offenhauser Aluminum Heads. The 3 speed manual transmission has been remodeled. the radiator is an all Aluminum  heavy duty to carry this flathead in all kinds of weather.  The car does not overheat and an aftermarket gauge  shows that this flathead runs at 160 degrees all day even in 90 degree weather.  The car has been converted to a 12 volt system with all new lights. etc.  The ignition coil and alternator  are also heavy duty.  The glass in the car is perfect with no bubbles or cracks.  The rear window works properly and goes down and the front window cranks out forward.  All gauges work properly except the gas gauge which only shows half full  but does drop when gas is needed.  The car starts right up and purrs very quietly when  running.  There is a rumble seat in excellent condition and the inside is beautiful with very. very fine mohair.  The car is all steel. the floors are very solid and the chrome and body are very straight.  There is some very minor paint checking and pebble chips but the car remains extremely presentable.  The car was also converted from mechanical brakes to hydraulic with new master cylinder brake drums. bearings. etc.  The undercarriage is very clean and well painted.  This car can be driven anywhere.  There is a banjo style steering wheel and a center above the head speaker which is original.  Even the mercury temperature gauge still works as does the speedometer.  This car is a trophy winner and the new owner will drive this car with pride.  One thousand dollars US currency deposited in to pay pal account up winning this auction and the balance to be paid via cash or cashier's check within 7 days of auctions' end.
