  You are bidding on a restored (older restoration) 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible with a 110 hp engine. dual carbs. and a 4 speed manual transmission. It is burgundy in color and has a very nice white vinyl interior and a white convertible top. It runs and drives as it should and is a garage kept car.

  It was purchased new by the Wise family in Whitesville West Virginia and was driven by young Bob Wise who was later elected to the Governors office and later to Congress. When Bob was elected Governor he tracked the Corvair down and repurchased it and had it restored and used it sparingly while living at the Governors Mansion. After he was elected to Congress he did not have room for it in D. C. so he sold it boyhood friend Steve who has used it in parades and for Sunday driving.  It happens to be the colors of Governor Wise's high school alma mater GWHS in Charleston W. V.
