TVR was an independent British manufacturer of sports cars and. br/>until 2006. was based in the seaside town of Blackpool. The company
manufactured lightweight sports cars with powerful engines and was. br/>at one stage. the third largest specialised sports car manufacturer
in the world offering a diverse range of coupés and convertibles.
TVR's are composed of tubular steel frames cloaked in fibreglass
bodywork. The two arms of the company were TVR Engineering which
manufactured sports cars and TVR Power. their powertrain division.
The company has. regrettably. had a turbulent recent history and
had not made any new cars since 2006. In July 2012. owner Nikolay
Smolensky announced that. despite analysing various potential plans
to create a new car. building a new TVR model was not going to be
financially viable despite promising to do so when buying the
company and thus TVR's existence as a car manufacturer was brought
to an end.

This striking TVR Tamora was supplied by Castle TVR in Essex on
28th May 2003. Fitted with TVR's own 'speed-six' 3605cc engine. br/>this TVR not only sounds beautiful. the performance can literally
be eye watering. The precise steering ensures an exciting drive and
the futuristic brushed aluminium dash layout is evocative. Finished
in red with black full leather trim and red stitching. the
condition of this Tamora is excellent. As always with a TVR. br/>servicing is vital and EU03 OUP has been serviced regularly within
the TVR network or by a recognised specialist. Few cars are as
exhilarating to drive as a TVR and with the demise of the company;
surely it is only a matter of time before values increase.
