Really nice restored Desoto wagon. This car is basically the same as a Windsor wagon of the same year but better looking with its 2-tone paint. This car was from northern California originally and was then stored by an east coast collector for 10 years. I bought it in 2007 and restored it over 2 years. The body was very solid but the paint very faded and nicked up here and there. The underside is solid but I did replace the floor pans with correct original ones as the floor was soft in a couple of spots. It has a new SMS interior with the original fabric pattern used exclusively by the wagons. New door panels. headliner. carpets and new correct white painted marine plywood wood in the back. The car has always been great mechanically. It runs. stops and drives fine. shifts fine too. All the chrome was redone $$$ and it was painted in the original 2-tone combo which is very sophisticated looking to my mind. New wide white radial last year with probably 300 miles on them. This is my fourth wagon and it's just one too many--or so my wife says.
