The "donor car" was a cherry, rust free, accident free west coast car. There wasn't a speck of rust damage anywhere on the car, and it retains all of its factory original sheet metal, floor pans, frame rails, etc."

This convertible doesn't share a single engine. drive-train. suspension. steering. brake system. or fuel system component with an original '67 Mustang.
Every piece of the car is brand new and can be expected to perform as such. This car isn't just a body kit and a pretty coat of paint like so many modified '67 Mustangs out there - it's got the engineering under the skin to back up the looks. It also doesn't follow the fad of "modernizing" the looks of the '67 Shelby. The original G. T. 500 had such timeless and beautiful lines that I just couldn't see deviating from them only to end up with a car that will look dated in 10 years. When you look at your car a decade from now. will you want to see something that hearkens back to the muscle car scene in 1967 or to a movie remake from the year 2000?

I am the third owner of the car and have enjoyed it since 2009.
I have added many upgrades to the car over the years and kept it in impeccable condition.
It has been driven a little over 11. 00 miles so there are a few minor flaws in the paint.
The most significant upgrades I performed was a supercharger which raised the horse power to 550 and 403 to the wheels.
In addition I added a high quality sound system.
The car is a blast to drive and gets constant looks and compliments.
Most people think it is a real GT 500 unless they are a true mustang buff.
