Up for auction is a beautiful 1957 Chevy 150 Utility Sedan. 283/270 HP

Although conceived and marketed as a utility sedan devoid of such common amenities as a radio. armrests or back seat. the 1957 Chevrolet 150 was also the perfect stripped-down platform for any one of Chevy's new 283 CI V-8 engines. including this example's dual quad 270 HP small block complete with Batwing air cleaner and floor-shifted 4-speed transmission. The product of a body-off restoration. this Spartan '57 is now as original in two-tone Red and White with a Black and Silver "snakeskin" interior and is authentic right down to its Red oxide-finished undercarriage.

This is a real factory utility sedan.

The engine is a real 283/270 HP. dual 4's. solid lifters. high lift cam-Serial # V091OEB.
