1929 Ford Model A pick-up truck open cab / roadster.Selling a real nice black on black truck for a friend. I know this truck very well, any questions you may have please ask me.The truck has been meticulously restored over 20 years ago. It was just pulled out of garage where it was stored for the last 15 years. The owner wanted me to get it back in shape and sell it. I'm a retired auto mechanic and I really enjoyed working on this gem.The engine runs very well, no noises or leaks. The transmission and clutch work well together, shifts great, no grinding or jumping out of gear (other than the actual gear change - sliding gear transmission design). The brakes stop straight as an arrow. Tires are in good shape. It has a very nice wooden cargo bed floor. Infact, all the wood pieces are in great shape as well as the cab roof frame. The canvas top is perfect. All the glass is perfect. The upper and lower parts of the seat are perfect. It has the spare tire fender mount, dual side mirrors and a roof mounted rearview mirror. The paint is very nice however, I did find two small areas on the right fender where there are some cracks in the paint. There is red pinstriping around the truck which I really like. All gauges are in working order. There are several tools that go with it. They are stored under the seat including a tire jack and a hand operated air pump etc.Some of the obvious modifications: the addition of turn signals, seat belts, an engine oil filter system, the installation of a 6-volt positive ground electronic ignition system (very well hidden) and a 6-volt alternator. The work I just completed consists of a new 6-volt battery, leakless water pump, carburetor overhaul with improved parts, new choke rod assembly, ignition switch, radiator leak repair, new upper and lower radiator hoses and 3 gallons of new antifreeze was added.If any questions, please ask...........
