1970 Porsche 911S Targa - Signal Orange for sale
Current customer rating:
This is a gorgeous Signal-Orange 1970 911 S targa. This is a genuine 70' 911 S. Of all colors Porsche offered throughout the years. signal orange (1414) has to be one of the most sought after. The color is strikingly beautiful and screams early 70 s that resembles the great era these cars were born in. The paint is beautiful. there are no scratches or dents that I can find. the paint is that clean. It has a very desirable genuine steel S bumper. It has a rare optional front Behr oil cooler. 911 S sway bars-front and rear. 911 S alloy brake calipers. S trim. and S gauges. although the tach is from a T. The interior is mostly original. The rear seat backs are taken out and speakers were added to the rear floors. The targa top seals perfect. The sunvisors are in good shape. The dash has a few cracks. It has a very expensive Nardi steering wheel installed. The steering wheel rubs when it turns and makes a squeal. but this is a minor issue. The floors and rockers look solid. Mechanically. the car runs like a scalded cat! The car was always well maintained and taken care of by a reputable independent Porsche shop. The engine is a 2. 2 E MFI that screams. It fires right up. no smoke. no leaks. and pulls VERY strong! The brakes and clutch are excellent too. I have lots of service receipts. I have a free and clear registration. These early 911 Ss are very desirable and keep rising up in value due to the unsurpassed performance. aesthetics. and ultimate driving pleasure. This car is no exception. and the color doesn't hurt it either. Please feel free to ask any questions.
