Novelty. Muscle. Perfection. All appropriate words to describe this immaculate 1970 Boss 302 Mustang. The Boss 302 was built to compete against Chevrolet's Camaro Z28. The Z28 had been engineered to take every advantage of the rules. The Boss followed Chevrolet's lead giving the Boss 302 a unique 290 hp engine, big brakes, a modified suspension, and other tweaks.

According to the owner, this is a real numbers matching G code 1970 Boss 302, which was professionally rotisserie restored about 7 years ago to original and stored mostly since then. Even all the codes, stickers and paint markings that would have come from the factory have been precisely applied. This car is in pristine condition and has been meticulously maintained, stored and driven on only perfect days.

The Mustang is finished in Calypso Coral over a White Rhino/Corinthian Vinyl interior. The Boss 302 Mustang is an American Muscle icon. They don't come better than this one.

When Ford introduced the Ford Mustang in 1964 an instant love affair with the American Pony Car was born. The Mustang was smaller, lighter, and more nimble that any American manufacturer had produced thus far. This coupled with its fresh design, the Ford Mustang became a must-have among the American public. A wide range of engines, trim options, body styles, and transmissions meant that there was a Mustang to please everyone. 1970 represented one of the greatest periods for the Ford Mustang. With multiple different performances options available (GT, Boss 302, Cobra Jet 428, Shelby GT350, Shelby GT500, Mach 1) the Mustang was the darling of American performance.
