1959 Ford Ranch Wagon, 2 Dr, rat rod, hot rod, surf wagon, original paint patina for sale
Current customer rating:
1959 Ford Ranch Wagon. Rare 2 door. Super fun car! Not a rusty rat rod junker. This car is perfect as is but would make an excellent street rod if you wanted to build it. Original paint with the perfect amount of patina. Runs and drives great. The engine and trans were in it when I got it. The previous owner also put a higher gear in it. runs down the interstate just fine.
302. edelbrock intake and carb. C-4 automatic New 18" Boss wheels with new Nitto 555's All new interior. seat covers. carpet. door panels. dash knobs New Vintage Air system New aluminum radiator New fuel pump Flowmaster mufflers
I replaced the floorpan under the drivers feet area. The rest of the floor pans are in great shape. Has a little rust in trunk drop offs on backside of quarters. not bad enough to worry with. A little rust in bottom of fenders that you can see in the pictures. No rust in the doors or door jambs. Tailgate and tailgate jamb is great. Very solid car.
All of the lights work as they should. Dome light inside works. Even the turn signal and bright light indicators work. Gas gauge and temp gauge works. Speedometer is not hooked up. The rear tires rub VERY slightly in the wheel wells. Not on the wheel lip. nothing to worry about.
I made the linkage to hook up the original 3 speed on column work with the automatic. It does not have a safety to keep it locked in park but it has never popped out of gear. Shifts and works perfect. The emergency brakes work.
This car is a lot of fun. Gets a lot of attentions everywhere we go. Load up the kids and drive it anywhere. This is the most fun car I have owned. Hate to sell but need to finance other projects. I have tried to describe it as honestly as I can but Im sure I left something out. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. Bidders with no feedback. email before bidding. For sale locally. auction could end early of sold.
Georgia does not require titles on old cars. Sold with a copy of Georgia registration.
