Up for auction is this chopped 1930 model a ford 5 window coupe.

Very traditional build

using a great patina nearly rust free western body. chopped 3" . filled roof with steel inner roof structure. original windshield frame. has all garnish mouldings [all chopped to fit]. new glass installed. new brookville deck lid and lower panel. new steel floor boards. new brookville roadster wheel well panels. nice original outside door and trunk handles. original 50

mounted on cut down model a headlight bar ends. very nice original 32 ford grille and shell with open top. brand new custom copper radiator. has chrysler mini van seat. no other interior. original cut down 40 ford dash with original instrument panel. 48 ford steering wheel on f-1 steering box.

all new 12 volt wiring . custom gas tank in trunk. all mounted on a new 32 ford chassis built by Dropped Axle Productions in cincinnati. ohio. using asc rails. boxed. chassis engineering center x member. model a style front crossmember. and original model a rear crossmember and spring. 4" dropped i beam axle. reverse eye spring. split 40 ford wishbones. 40 ford spindles with 39

brakes and 45 fin buick brake drums. rodsville halibrand v 8 style quick change rear converted to drop out 9" ford 28 spline axles with big truck drum brakes. mounted with pete and jakes ladder bars.

Engine is fully rebuilt 58 chrysler imperial 392 HEMI [bores to 417 cubes]. this is the wet head version. has very rare mickey thompson finned aluminum valve covers with equally rare finned m/t breathers. 6 x 2 offy aluminum log manifold with large logo stromberg 97 carbs . progressive linkage. dual finned aluminum moon fuel blocks. msd ignition. hot heads hemi valley cover. big block chev water pump conversion. one wire alternator. adapted with wilcap kit to

original 40 ford 16"x 4" front wheels with 500 x 16 firestone tires [coker]. 40 ford 16"x 41/2" rear wheels widened to 6" with 750 x 16 firestone tires [coker]. new 40 standard hubcaps and trim rings. car is fresh build and still needs final carb tuning. zero miles.
