1991 Ford E-Series Van Quigley

This Van has an (A) title I received upon purchase for a BOX (A) 15. 35 Actual mile Quigley Undercover surveillance. reconnaissance vehicle.

Have you seen Narcos? There was a rumor that this van was a REAL Narco hunter in 1992!! Right around the end of the Medellin Cartels long and historic reign.

(I cannot verify this. but the first 8 years of this vans existence is unavailable. ) It ads up! Each door had 2/3 Extra dead bolts especially designed to keep outsiders out!

Not sure if it is Armored. but would not be surprised one bit.
++Also want to point out that some of the Vin searches will show an odometer discrepancy.

What happened is a very common issue.

When older low mileage (5) digit odometer Fords began to enter into SMOG programs. the person peering in the window and frantically writing down mileage will often write down the 6 th Digit in Error.

The 6 th digit is a 1/10 th of a mile wheel!!
So for example 12. 00 miles will read 12. 00. 0 and so on.
What I can tell you is I received AN Actual mile Title from the branch of Govt that I was lucky enough to purchase this amazing van.

It had been driven rarely but had been in Fed Storage for unknown reasons for many years.

They finally released it. but sadly they kept the data boxes:(
That will have to remain folklore for now. but take a look!

It is true the Government had a strategic alliance with Quigley in the 80 s and 90 s. and ordered the special RUGGED TOUGH 4 x 4 Conversion kit on a few Select E-350 s!

Yes this is a 1-TON 4 x 4 with Lockers! This is not a joke when it comes to off-roading!

This van is or shall I say "Stake Out BUG OUT VAN". was designed for long term surveillances and was usually PARKED!

That's why the miles remain at nearly nothing.
It has some long term home amenities. such as it's own toilet. refrigerator. climate control. propane tanks. ventilation. Freezer and drain. and some serious equipment .

(Not sure what works and what doesn't. )

The Feds didn't offer much paperwork as one may imagine.

Now you can take this monitoring equipment out and make a Rv of your own. out or you can keep it. and have a Barrett Jackson restorable special that may just break the bank !!!

I think this is a very collectible vehicle and someday it's history and options . along with the miles and the RUST FREE BODY. will make it a ONE OF A KIND if NOT ALREADY.

Often times the government exempts their vehicles from being actual miles to avoid any trouble. NOT ON THIS ONE.

This one is the true proper government color that they had used when purchasing in bulk.
AS expected with the miles. there are no leaks and it it runs and drives like a nearly new vehicle.
Obviously it is a 1991 despite Well I'm fairly sure this is the only one of its kind in the world .
