This car was an old race car and now built to replicate a 40/50 s salt flat car.
Engine 1953 Ford Flathead . bored . 080 over and stoked (Merc 4 ” crank) 276 Cubic i nch. Fully polished/ported and relieved. Isky 440 cam. adjustable
lightweight lifters. new valve springs. Jahn's pistons. Offenhauser 425 heads. o ffenhauser dual carb intake with Dual Holley 94 s (modified power valves ). Mallory electronic ignition. Headers. New Walker Radiator and
electric fan. truck water pumps. Alternator
Body 1934 Ford All steel Henry Ford
Chopped 4 ”. roof filled. Louvered Hood and trunk. 33 Ford inner fenders m ade to work as scoops. 1939 Ford tail lights. 1934 Ford headlights. All
new floors w/ custom trans hump and trunk floor to fit cross member.
Chassis 1934 Ford original frame
Boxed. custom x member. Front axle moved ahead 1 1/2

model A high arch rear cross member & spring. Magnum 4” dropped axle. slider spring. dropped steering arms. 16 Gallon gas tank (Tanks)
Rear frame horn ends flipped to fit up to body. custom push bar.
Wishbones - 1936 Ford rear (reinforced) & custom split wishbones up front.
Drivetrain T 5 5 speed trans. rear end Winters (Dutchman) quick change with plug in
axles. Flat-O custom Flathead to 5 speed bell-housing. 10 1/2 ” clutch
(hydraulic). custom open driveline. Quick change set is 4. 11:1
Steering 1956 Ford F 100 steering box (totally rebuilt). custom pitman arm and drag
link.
Wheels / Tires Rear. 1932 Ford 18 ” - Firestone 700 X 18 tires
Front. 1936 Ford 16” - Firestone 475 X 16 tires. Wheels powder coated. Spacers to fit drums and long studs
Interior 1933 Ford Dash. Engine turned insert. Racing seats. Airplane seat belts
Aluminum door panels. custom 39 Ford Banjo wheel. stainless steering
column. Crosley rod steering drop. Custom glove box. 50 cal. bullets
Brakes 1940 Ford all around with Buick brake drums.
Pictures of entire build and engine (heads off) available. Good Oregon Title
Car is advertized elsewhere so could be removed before auction end.
