You are looking at an American Motors Corporation Jeep CJ 5 304 ci V 8. With its 300 hp engine on a 83 inch wheelbase. and of course off road capability. makes this Jeep a blast to drive. It has less than 3 years and 3000 miles on restoration. I purchased it from someone in Hot Springs. AR. It had 37 k miles on it and ran and drove fine. I stripped it down to bare frame. The frame was blasted and powder coated. All seals and bearings on both differentials (Dana 20 & Dana 30) were replaced. All new Rancho Shocks and all new bushings and links on suspension. All new brakes and lines are powered by a GM booster and Corvette master cylinder. The tires are Duratrac Goodyear 31 x 10. 5. I had to replace windshield frame due to rust and hood due to damage. The main body was blasted and floor pans are original. there is a patch panel in drivers floorboard a base of gas pedal where small holes appeared after blasting. There were also some structural issues I solved with spare tire mount holding 31 in tire. The engine was completely rebuilt by a well known local shop (Rebel Rebuilders). Everything was replaced except crank and block. I would have replaced engine with 350 but decided to keep it because it was original one that came in vehicle. It has a Holley 750. Hooker headers and GM HEI ignition. The factory components were replaced too (power steering pump. alternator. etc). I have not purchased a full top I do have bikini top and I have door frames and bows also it has air conditioning for when top does happen. Call me if you have any questions .
