Hello. /p>

I am selling a very clean original survivor 1952 Ford Crestline Sunliner. This car is one of a kind because it's a survivor that left the factory in 1952 and still remains the same to today. I am the third registered owner. The car was given to Ryan Cassidy (David Cassidy's brother) as a gift. I took the care of the car for him for one year until I bought the car from him. The car is a dry California car.

The exterior is in an excellent original condition. Don't be expecting a mint condition when I say excellent. Why did I say excellent? This is because from what I see in person is unbelievable condition for a 62 years old car that has never been repainted. chromed. resealed. rebuild. and the feeling by looking at the car brings you back to the 50's. The paint is olive green and is all original with some patinas. The bumpers are in a great condition and no hit or dents. All lights works and the gasket has not been replaced. The driver side has a cool accessory spotlight with mirror and the spotlight works. The whole body of the car is in a great condition except the passenger side door does have a small dent but it brings character to the car. The car remains with an original key for all doors. ignition. and the trunk/glove box compartment has a separate original key. 4 hubcaps remain original and the beauty rings are aftermarket.   The trunk seal was replaced because it was so brittle and dried up. I added the seal to prevent the water going into the trunk. I added a NOS accessory removable hitch to tow an extremely rare matching color 1953 Westfalia travel trailer. All wiring is original. The trailer is up for sale too. The trailer is known to be the only registered trailer in the world.

The interior is in a great original condition. Both of the seats still have original upholstery. The door panels and rear side panels are original as well. All door handle and window crank handles are original. Everything on the dash is original and works. The wiper motor for some reason does not work and must have been a loose wire. The floor mat is original. The trunk liner has been replaced to a custom made carpet lining. I do see some original rubber intact to the body. Apparently the previous owner installed the carpet because the original rubber lining was brittle. The original spare tire remains on the car with original jack. The sun visors are original.

The convertible top is original and the rear zipped window needs to be sewn to reattach to the top fabric. The convertible top motor works but does need some assist to bring it up or down. This is because the motor has a leak and needs to replace the gasket. I left it alone because the car looks better with the top town. The car comes with two kinds of convertible top cover. One is matching color green to cover the top and the other one is a white cover that covers the whole interior seat and steering wheel. When you drive the car. you can zip the driver side open and leave the rest of the seat covered.

The motor is 61. 76 original miles. A well-known mechanic Tony Wade from Burbank. CA did the work on the motor by rebuilding the water pump. flush the radiator. rebuilt the carburetor. and tune up. The engine runs strong. The engine compartment still have 3 initials signed from the factory inspector when inspected to make the car is ready to be sold on the dealer's lot. All decals on the oil bath cleaner and oil filter are original. Everything in the engine compartment is original. The 3 speed transmission is original as well and comes with an overdrive.

I took the car and a camping trailer to a recent trailer show. The car towed the trailer very well because the trailer is a light weight trailer. Everybody at the trailer show was in awe when they saw the car with the trailer.    This is your chance to own a piece of an original survivor car. I really would like to sell the car and trailer together. It took me a while to find the matching color trailer and only one year apart. Consider both a survivor and would be a great display to present in a car collector museum or a personal collector museum. Please check out the trailer that I am listing on ebay for sale too. I have placed a photo of the car with trailer only for you to see what they look like when towed and displayed.   I am selling the car alone and if you are interested to buy the trailer to match the car then you will need to check my listing. If you have any question. please feel free to call me at 805-296-7366. The car is covered at protected until sold. Good luck!

Correction on the engine: I was asked a question if I had the correct engine size. I checked the manuals and it only mentioned the engine is a 110 HP V8. It did not say what the CI size is. I mentioned 289 ci because someone at the trailer told me the size. I am not sure if it is correct however if any of you know the correct engine size based on the HP. Please contact me so I can update the description. Thank you!
