3 DAY WEEKEND SPECIAL SALE for sale
Current customer rating:
This Mustang is the best 66 Shelby 350 GT Hertz honorarium that there is on the market. If you seek quality this is it. In fact. perhaps nicer that the few of those 350 Hertz cars on the market today made by Carroll actually in 1966. Ironically an "unnamed" inspecting Shelby expert had to be convinced this car was not one of those 350 H's made in 66. to his embarrassment.
This is about a $70 k to $80 k rotisserie restore. A Carroll touched and constructed 1966 350 H is $150 k and has nothing different in major parts or pieces. There was no magic special 350 GT H assembly line pumping them out in Dearborn. Both were made by Ford in 1966. panel for panel. Carroll took the cars and added a package of goodies for the renting public. who then rented them from Hertz and abused the living crap out of each and every one of them. Some on the market today think they have the correct motor (really? maybe). but many were rented and even the motors swapped back in the day. Which is why the new ones have "tag wires". That weekend motor swap was not a one time thing in 1966 as you can see.
