CUSTOM ROADSTER (NO ROOF)

Up for sale is my 1955 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CUSTOM ROADSTER. This car gets more attention then a topless supermodel! And it is topless. There is no roof or side glass. This car apparently started life as a hardtop but somewhere along the way. the roof was professionally removed and all the edges properly finished. It is the perfect sunny day or "parade car". You will get whistles. hoots and thumbs up every time you take it out. It has a beautiful custom interior. custom console after market gauge cluster. a new carpet and a 4 speaker Sony X-Plode sound system. color matched seat belts.   The headlights and turn signals work as they should. The speedometer does not work. The dash has an aftermarket ball milled. billet aluminum insert. billet knobs and door handles. I did not build the car and did not receive much info when I bought it about 2 years ago. I was told that the engine was a fresh 350 and the transmission is a later model GM 5 speed. possibly out of Camaro. It seems to have plenty of power. but it's no race car. The engine has an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. aluminum intake. billet air cleaner and valve covers. chrome and billet brackets. chrome brake booster and aluminum radiator. It runs well and sounds great. It has a very deep and throaty exhaust. The wheels are polished aluminum American Racing with nearly new Nitto radials. The paint and body are good with a few flaws on close inspection. but all in all it really looks good and shines. This is not a show car. It is a nice "Driver" quality car that you will be proud to drive. I bought it about two years ago. made a few minor repairs. parked in my sisters garage on the other side of town and never drove it. I had a custom cover made by "California Car Covers" that will go with the car. I have three other fully restored hot rods at my house and the inconvenience of going to get it. left it sitting. My son and I took it out yesterday to take the pictures and it started easily and ran like a top. I filled in 50k miles on the Ebay form but actual miles are unknown. Please. NO TRADES and NO TIRE KICKERS or Dreamers. If you don' have the money on hand. please don't bid. I will not wait for you to get financing. Please don't email me any offers or negotiations.
