!!!!! NO RESERVE !!!!!

Alright guys and girls as much as I hate to do it I am selling my 68 Camaro SS project. As most projects go my loss is your gain.  I have a 1970 Pontiac Trans Am that I completely restored and is the true love of my life and recently bought a Piper Cherokee Warrior that has now consumed my time.

I bought this very very solid True SS from the original owners son. So technically not the original owner but pretty damn close.  I have restored about 10 cars in my lifetime ( I'm 43 ) on the side just as a passion and hobby and I can tell you that this is the most solid car I have ever had.

The original color of the car was blue and from what I was told about 20 years ago it was painted red. The car did have a 350 motor in it when I got it. and a turbo 350 tranny with a factory 12 bolt. I have the turbo 350 fresh rebuild that will go with the car but since it did not have the original motor I saw the car as a blank canvas. Only thing that needs replacing is the Trunk Pan which I screwed up and ordered 2 of them and 2 small 1" holes in the drive and passenger side not from rust but where something was bolted. I love the Pro Tour Theme so at the heart of this beast is a 500hp beast LQ4 - 6. 0 LS backed by a 4l80E. The motor was rebuilt to the Car Craft run up in the magazine. Complete with a new GM Hot Cam. New valve springs and heads reworked. Billet Torque converter custom made for it by R & R converters here in Asheville. NC. The entire under carriage has been completely done. Front sub frame complete with new tubular upper and lower control arms. Brand new disc brakes front and rear. new suspension front and rear. Completely rebuilt original 12 bolt with new 3. 55 gears and Eaton PT unit. New LS motor mounts. New KYB shocks. nbsp;new oil pan that can be seen in one of the pictures. front runner system. nbsp;radiator core support. new GM intake I was going to put a new fuel injected carb look alike on it. Holley makes a great one. nbsp;new door panels and kick panels. new sway bars front and rear. nbsp;the list goes on and on and on. It is in my opinion it would take 5-7k to finish this car the way I would want. If you got some skills or buddy's with body shops that owe's you a favor or two 5k would finish it. In return you got a 35k+ car in a matter of a couple of weeks. I'm selling this with NO RESERVE so it will sale to the highest bidder or someone will buy it locally.

I reserve the right to end the auction early if some one throws a reasonable offer my way.
