Hello and thanks for checking out my auction! What we have here is a car I found at an estate auction that I just couldn't pass up!It started out life as a I think a 1978 Datsun 280z but was at one point transformed into what I would consider a decent representation of a Ferrari GTO if it was offered in a convertible form. When I trailered this car back home I can't tell you how many people would stop me to find out what it was! Gets the same attention as the real thing. But this car is going to need lots of work as you can see and I know about the same amount as you can gather by looking at it. Floors are rusted thru in parts, thick (house) carpeting hides the fact this is a Flintstone mobile and needs serious attention to low prone points of water collection. This has been stored in my garage since I bought it but there is evidence this was outside for an unknown period.Door bottoms have rust, doors both still operate and swing out well.Car has one flat (tire is shredded and will not hold air) and another that loses air slowly over the course of a few days, other 2 hold air as they should.Car rolls easily and steers easily even with the one flat. Interior is a mess and needs total restoration but it does have a custom dash to give it a more authentic look. Engine bay is surprisingly tidy and clean, engine has evidence of some love but some plug wires are off.No key so engine condition is a mystery. Ditto for the transmission.Trunk has surface rust but a quick inspection reveals no rust thru even in the pan it and it seems intactCar is sold on bill of sale only due to age and the fact Georgia only issued titles after 1984That is about all I know of the car. Expect lots of work and rust underneath as you would any Japanese car of this vintage that has sat for a long time. Expect to have to restore or fix everything. Also expect a lot of inquisitive stares and questions. This would be best served as a movie prop or for any business to garner some serious attention as with a basic paint job from a distance this would look like an exotic & expensive Italian masterpiece haha until you are ready to tackle the restoration and to get it on the roadTake a look at the pictures & please email me any questions and I will be glad to help.$200 deposit due once the auction ends so I know you are serious, remainder at pickup.I can deliver if within a reasonable distance for a fee once it is paid for. Thanks again for looking!
