I say VERY RARE because there were only 15. 33 Thunderbird Town Hardtops built in 1966 !! 1966 was also the LAST and they tell me the BEST year of the 4th generation "Jet Birds". TOO COOL ! This Thunderbird Town Hardtop still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door mounted Thunderbird data plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - trunk lid mounted jacking instruction sticker and the - ORIGINAL - 1966 Ford Thunderbird owner's manual. all of which are shown in several pictures below.  This BEAUTY is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - High Mountain Desert - Western vehicle and it shows !! I drove this Thunderbird for about a week as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives EXCELLENT !! It cruises  smoothly and easily in town and also on the freeway at 75+ mph !! If you can make it please come look this BEAUTY over and drive this car for yourself. you won't be disappointed !! THIS IS A QUALITY CAR FOR SURE THAT IS READY TO  ENJOY !! 

At the heart of this Thunderbird is what appears to be the ORIGINAL - VERY STRONG !! - "GROUND POUNDING" - Code "Z" - (315 HP From The Factory !!) - 390 CID V8 motor in it that is running very well indeed. The motor still retains the ORIGINAL four barrel intake manifold. ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds. nbsp;ORIGINAL valve covers. ORIGINAL air cleaner housing. ORIGINAL "Ford" scripted windshield wash reservoir and the ORIGINAL 4 barrel carburetor. Etc. . It is amazing how much power this car has. UNBELIEVABLE !! Sounds GREAT too with the factory style true dual exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "8" - "Cruise'O'Matic" - three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - ALL FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "24" - Emberglo Vinyl Luxury bucket seat interior is in VERY NICE !! condition with VERY NICE ORIGINAL Emberglo vinyl front bucket seats. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Emberglo carpets. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Emberglo Vinyl rear bucket bench seat with folding  center armrest. There are not many of these left on the roads for sure !  

These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers. nbsp;VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging and VERY NICE ORIGINAL front grill and Thunderbird grill ornament.  Check out the  AWESOME - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Thunderbird stainlees steel wheel covers wrapped in a set of NEARLY NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires. Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this 'Bird and really give it that  clean - ORIGINAL - "factory look" !! The Clean - Solid trunk sports a VERY NICE ORIGINAL style vinyl liner. a full size spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. This Thunderbird Town Hardtop is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in VERY NICE !! condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic Thunderbird Town Hardtop worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because  this is the one ! All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are clear. bright and BEAUTIFUL !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well.  It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and also included photos below. Again this car is a NICE - DRY - SOLID -high mountain desert - western vehicle and boy does it show !!
