Beautiful red speedster that runs and handles great. The shell was built by Classic Motor Carriages back in the early seventies and is solid as a rock. The chassis is from a 1968 beetle. This car spent most of its life in New Mexico and then garage kept in the northeast. It had a total refurbish about ten years ago and has around 5. 00 miles on everything. including its 1776 motor. It even sounds great. Everyone loves the car. Hate to let it go but my wife and I don't fit in it like we used to and we hardly use it. Aging sucks and it is time to cull the herd. I also have a 1975 red Beetle convertible for $12000 and two mid-eighties vanagons for $4200 each. Of course prices are a little negotiable.
