2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK280 ROADSTER Convertible



 Everything works as it should.   With the Air-Scarf & Heated Leather seats. you can cruise with the top down while it's still cold out.   It looks great and gets a lot of attention wherever driven.   It does have minor nicks. scratches. wear. etc. . but they are hardly visible.   You can scan the sides all you want. no dings or dents in the doors or sides !!!  I drove it to work for a year. thus the high mileage. that and the fact that is so much fun to take for a cruise.   The pictures show everything but I invite you to come take a close up look at this car.   Personally. I think you'll love it :)

NOTE:  The two Trim Covers on the retractable top are on order from Mercedes.   They are faded & should be here and replaced within the week.  

Please see the window sticker for a complete list of options.   The tires were replaced with a set of  Continental DWS (Dry. et. now) a few thousand miles ago.   Plenty of tread wear left. they still look new.

The mileage is approximate and is subject to change until the moment it is sold.   It will have a fresh oil & filter change. tire rotation and fluid check. just before you come to pick it up.   It can be driven anywhere :) 

When you win the auction you must make a deposit of $500. 00 and contact me to arrange the remaining payment and your plans for getting the vehicle.   Please do this shortly after the auction. or at least within 24 hours.

PAYMENT & PICK-UP

 The vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank and are available for withdrawal.   Pay any way you choose but be advised that until the money is in my bank and clear. the Title and Car will remain in my possession.  I've bought and sold on eBay for more than a decade and have lived in my home over 30 years. you'll find I'm easy to get along with when taking care of business.   (For REASONABLE people. )

This vehicle is nicely equipped and comes with the original keys and owners manual.  The Window sticker from the original purchase is also included.  The lady I bought it from spent over 51K plus Tax. Title & Tags. possibly even Luxury Taxes when she bought this car and drove it 39. 00 miles!  It has a Harman Kardon stereo system with Sirius available!!!   Almost everything is power. including the tilt & telescoping steering wheel.



Garmin Nuvi with Lifetime Maps and Traffic updates.  This connects to the wireless back-up camera.  To get updates. go to mygarmin. com and register and your unit will be updated anytime new maps or other info are available.  If you prefer not to have the back-up camera or this unit-I'll have it properly removed from the vehicle.
K&N Air filters:  This car uses 2 long air filters that are fairly expensive.  K&N filters provide 1 million miles of driving with just a clean & refresh every 50. 00 miles.  I've used these since the 80's and they not only improve performance. they improve fuel economy.  They were installed at 40K shortly after purchasing the car. cleaned and refreshed a few thousand miles ago.   I've gotten 26 MPG AVG on trips at 70 MPH.   (93 octane)

Drilled / Zinc plated Front & Rear Brake rotors with Ceramic brake pads:  Hardly worn. very little brake dust means less time spent cleaning the wheels. it has excellent stopping ability.

COBRA XRS9970G  Radar detector: This can go with the car. I won't be replacing this vehicle.  Excellent safety warning system. much more than a radar detector.   This comes with a GPS locator to pinpoint Speed-traps and Traffic Cameras. Provides notifications regarding trains. ambulances. etc.   I seldom speed and never abuse my vehicles.   I hate getting caught in a speed trap and have one of these in each of my cars.

WINTER & SUMMER MERCEDES FLOOR MATS - OEM  All in pretty good shape.

I'm the 2nd owner.   I bought this at 39. 00+ miles and have worn out 1 set of tires and recently installed a new set. now it's your turn:)

Payment info:

Only  $500. 00 is to be paid using PayPal and that amount is considered your deposit.   The remaining balance should be paid by cash or check.   Once all funds are clear. the Title will be completed & provided to the buyer and the car will be released.
