The Land Rover Series IIA- As Powerful As It Is Nostalgic
The Series IIA is considered the most classic of all Land Rover models.
The drivetrain is reliable. the layout is utilitarian and straightforward. the seating is plentiful and spaceous. It is no wonder the Land Rover Series 2A dominated most of the markets in which it was sold.
The vehicle was restored and updated a few years ago and stills shows like a new vehicle. This Land Rover was completely disassembled. stripped and repainted.
The differentials where updated to an air locking type. a secondary fuel tank with transfer pump was added. an onboard air compressor was also added. all the switchgear. gauges and wiring was replaced with new old stock equipment. The fuse panel was replaced with modern equipment that allowed for better distribution of loads.
