Intro:

For your consideration is this show quality. extremely well sorted. and well appointed '34 Ford Coupe hot rod that was built originally in the 1990's and received extensive refurbishment in 2012.  It has a clean title and is actually titled as a 1934 Ford Coupe.  This is a true hot rod in the sense that it delivers plenty of American V8 muscle (Chevy 383) but this example sets itself apart from the rest with features that make it a more enjoyable vehicle to drive and live with.  Some of these features include working air-conditioning. heat. power steering. power brakes. cruise control. Painless wiring harness. coil suspension and more!  To bring it back up to “show car ready”. this vehicle went through extensive refurbishment in 2012 resulting in a show worthy beautiful PPG Vanilla Shake (pearl white) finish. and much mechanical work.  It has been very well maintained and has received other significant maintenance and upgrades 300 miles ago.  The Coupe has traveled only 25. 00 miles since new.  This truly is a top notch example of a '34 Ford Coupe that is extremely well sorted and is 100% ready to be driven and enjoyed.  Please view the video. photographs. and detailed description below to get a clear idea of how impressive this Coupe is.

There are a few different sections to the clip:

1. ) Exterior walk around shows the straightness of the body. excellent fitment of the panels. and quality of reflections in the paint.  The body is impressive.

2. ) Engine bay clip shows this Coupe running.  The engine bay is clean with chrome and polished bits.  The engine runs very nicely and sounds great.

3. ) Interior view shows that the interior is complete. finished. functional. comfortable. and very presentable.

4. ) The driving clips help show that this Coupe runs and drives extremely well!  It shifts as it should. accelerates very nicely. and sounds amazing.  The interior driving view shows that all the gauges work and there is strong oil pressure.

Exterior:

The finish of this Coupe is of impressive quality and is in expected condition for having been recently painted in 2012.  The bodywork was professionally completed and is show worthy.  The finish is comprised of quality PPG products with the color named “Vanilla Shake” and being a pearlescent white.  The white looks excellent and changes slightly pending amount of light and angle of light.  The paint is uniform and matching in tint. lack of texture. glossiness. etc.  No drips. rough spots. rough primer sanding marks. or orange peel to be found.  High quality and professionally performed bodywork.  There are limited miles on the “new” finish so there of course are limited. but expected minor flaws/wear spots.  There are a few minor chips on the front fenders and those are pictured and not noticed unless one is looking for them and has their face about two feet away from them.  There are a few other minor stone chips on a few other spots.  By the passenger headlight there is about an inch long crack that has been touched up. hardly noticeable. and is shallow.  That would be the most significant flaw in the finish and it is not one easily noticed.  The passenger rear fender has a very shallow and barely noticeable scuff from a rope or strap that with some compound should be unnoticeable.  Again. the finish truly is of extremely high quality and is in excellent condition.  The finish is very smooth and looks to have been professionally wet sanded with 2000 grit sand paper.  In addition to the excellent finish. there has been professionally painted pin striping on this Coupe.

The body on this Coupe is in excellent condition  The fiberglass is straight and smooth.  There looks to be no repair to the fiberglass.  When kneeling and looking down the side of the body. it looks great. is glossy. and straight.  The body panels fit as they should and open and close fine.  The underbody is in excellent condition.  This hot rod spent most of its life in Texas so the underbody is dry. solid. and straight without repair or needing repair.  The paint on the frame is still present and looks nice.  Billet Specialties rims are present and in very nice condition.  Lenses throughout are good.  Glass throughout is good with tinting present.  The windows are electric and do function.  The engine bay is clean and presentable with plenty of chrome and polished aluminum.  The hood release works appropriately and a working prop rod is present.  The trunk opens fine and is usable.  A panel can be removed for accessing more storage. the CB radio. amplifier. and so on.  There is nothing body wise that should be needing attention.  The body on this Coupe has been very well taken care of and is extremely presentable with professional work completed.

Interior:

The interior in this hot rod is in very presentable condition.  It goes nicely with the pearlescent white exterior.  The interior is a turquoise/blue color and a tweed type texture.  The seats are very comfortable TEA custom hot rod seats.  Both seats are in very nice condition. excellent bolsters. and no significant wear spots to report.  The upholstery throughout the interior matches in terms of color and texture and is in nice condition.  The upholstery fits snugly and is attached well. not floppy.  The door panels and headliner have indented designs that look nice.  The seats fold forward allowing access to extra storage behind them.  Three point Julianos hot rod seat belts are present.  A billet (Lokar?) steering wheel is present and the column has tilt.  The dash looks nice with a billet surround for the Vintage gauges.  Other billet is found throughout the interior like the door arm rests/pulls.  The electric windows and door release handles work.  The carpet is a darker green type color and is in nice condition.  Overall. this Coupe has a very presentable. functional. and comfortable interior that is not in need of anything.  It is actually relatively quiet driving inside the car.  One can tell the interior work was professionally completed.  The interior and the options present. greatly aid in driving enjoyment.

Mechanical:

This '34 Coupe is a well set up and impeccably maintained machine.  It is not in need of significant maintenance or mechanical repair.  Notable specs include:

Engine:

-Chevrolet 383 small block. refreshened in 2012

-Vortec aluminum heads

-Edelbrock (750 CFM?) carburetor

-Edelbrock Performer RPM dual plane intake manifold

-Accel HEI distributor

This Coupe is extremely well sorted mechanically.  As mentioned. it received refurbishment in 2012.  In the summer of 2014. about 300 miles ago. it received the following maintenance:

-Front big brake upgrade kit with new rotors. pads. calipers. bearings. etc.

-New Mustang steering rack

-New u-joints and differential bearings

-New front shocks

-New fluid: oil. transmission. rearend

This coupe drives extremely well and is a blast to drive.  The engine runs extremely well and is powerful.  It starts up right away and keeps a constant idle.  It is healthy with strong oil pressure and without smoking on startup.  No leaks left on the floor from this Coupe.  The dual glasspack exhaust sounds excellent and is in great condition.  The engine runs at proper operating temperature. even when sitting idle.  The engine pulls strong through the RPM range with excellent torque down low and plenty of pull in the mid/upper range of the band.  The build plate on the firewall states 300 hp out of the Chevrolet 383 but after the refurbishment from 2012. it is believed to be up from that. possibly up to 400 hp.  The transmission shifts as it should and is in great condition. not needing attention.  The B&M shifter allows driver control of shift points.  No leaks  The differential is also great and does not make whines or other odd noises.  The suspension on this Coupe is impressive.  It rides comfortably but nice and tight with good steering control. not loose. sloppy. and worn like some hot rods I have been in.  The air shocks hold their pressure well and can of course be adjusted.  The accessories are fully working.  A/C blows nice and cold.  The heat blows nice and hot.  All the gauges work.  Wiper is present but not installed.  The doors have an electric release and work appropriately.  Headlights. turn signals. etc. all work.  The tires are newer and with minimal miles on them.  The car runs smooth and goes straight down the road.

There are great variances when it comes to a hot rod build.  This ‘34 Coupe is a properly and professionally built example.  It has what one should expect. such as a powerful V8 engine. excellent sound. and beautiful body work.  It also though has features that make it much more enjoyable to drive and live with such as rack and pinion steering. power options. and working A/C.  This Coupe has been very well taken care of with up to date maintenance and is ready for the road.  It is an absolute blast to drive.  With consideration for this Coupe's excellent cosmetic/mechanical condition and excellent options/features. the asking price for this Coupe has been tried to set fairly at $37. 00 or best offer.
