Up For auction is my High-end Resto-mod 68 Chevy. This is a very nice. fast. reliable truck. built with the best of parts.  It is the nicest 67-72 Chevrolet that I have seen in  the Tampa Bay area! I will do my best to describe it as accurately as possible. and feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have about it. I have upwards of $85. 00 in the build. with a substantial amount in the body and paint!

Body: The body is very straight with a lot of attention to detail in the build process. It has all GM sheetmetal with the exception of the drivers door and hood. which are both Goodmark) and the bedsides. which are Mar-K. built in USA. and as good as original GM. if not better) The rear fenders and tailgate are NOS GM. The exterior door handles are NOS GM as well.  All spotwelds in the bed have been removed. It is sprayed in PPG Deltron Wintermint Green. and cleared in PPG 2021 clear. All the gaps on the body are very nice also. The bedwood is Brazilian Lacewood. cut. machined. and finished by myself. It has custom made 16 guage polished stainless wheelwells also installed. All the fender bolts on the inside of the bed are indexed. and have . 010 clear Teflon washers under them so there is no metal to paint contact. Same with the tailgate and rear light bolts. The front and rear bumpers are original GM that were re-chromed

Interior: The interior is a mild custom to go with the theme of the truck. It features a rare 67-68 only Buddy Bucket seat covered in Black Ultra-leather. with two green stripes down each seat. It also has a one of a kind complete Black Ultra-leather headliner! The door panels are also custom. and covered in Black Ultra-leather. with one off billet power window switches made by myself. I also used products made by Second Skin to insulate and sound deaden the cab interior. I used a gallon of their Firewall Liquid Thermal Barrier. and approximately 70 sq. ft. of their Damplifier Pro sound deadener! It is extremely quiet. and you have to crack a window to close the the door without having to slam it! It is very well sealed! The instrument panel is billet aluminum with Auto-meter Pro-Comp Ultra-lite gauges. It has a brushed aluminum Ididit column with a Grant steering wheel. It has a Vintage Air heat and A/C system. with a GM NOS a/c controller. It also has a complete Painless wiring system. The Vent windows are original GM that came out of Alaska. which are very nice and completely operable. with soft pliable rubber! The Interior door handles and inside door latches are NOS GM as well.  The interior was done by Todd LaTorre. who is the current lead singer of the band Queensrhyche!

Engine: The engine is a 406 small block with Milodon splayed 4 bolt caps. It has SRP forged flat top pistons with C&A Zero Gap Rings and 4340 I-Beam rods. It has a Cloyes Tru-Roller chain and billet gears. and a Cloyes 2-piece cover. and a Fluidamper up front. The block has been zero decked. and honed with torque plates. The top and bottom end are studded with ARP fasteners. It also has a crank scraper and windage tray. and a Hamburger oil pan. The heads are Aluminum Edelbrock Victor Jr. port matched to an Edelbrock Victor Jr intake. Sitting on top is a Jesel Sportsman shaft rocker setup. with Manton Stage 5. 5/16 pushrods. I set all the valvetrain to the correct geometry. with the correct length pushrods. It also has lash caps on top of the valves. The Camshaft is a Comp Cams custom . 900 base circle mechanical roller with a 4/7 firing swap. Specs are as follows:. 571 int. . 578 ex. 242int 248 ex at . 050 110 degree lobe separation. It also has Isky Red Zone E-Z Roll lifters. The carb is a Pro-Systems 832 cfm built specifically for this combo. and it performs flawlessly! Spark is handled by a MSD Digital 6-AL. and a MSD Pro Billet distributor. Starting and charging are done by a Powermaster mini starter. and Powermaster 100 amp 1 wire alternator.  Headers are Hooker Super Comp. going into a 3" mandrel bent exhaust with an X-Pipe. that go into Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers  with tailpipes that go over the rear end and dump to the sides . It is crisp. nd throaty sounding. but not loud. It is cooled by a Be-Cool aluminum radiator with a Flex-o-lite 295 dual electric fan setup with a Flex-o-lite fan controller. The engine runs very smoothly due to the 4/7 firing swap which dramatically improves the harmonics of the engine. The truck has true braided lines throughout.

Suspension: The front consists of a 72 disc brake front end. with ECE 2"dropped spindles. and ceramic pads. The rear is a QA1 single adjustable coil over setup. with Porterbuilt tubular trailing arms that have been modified for strength. and a Porterbuilt rear crossmember. All Porterbuilt pieces are powdercoated hammered gray.

Trans: A built turbo 400. with shift kit. and Kevlar clutches. It has a Fairbanks converter that stalls to about 3100. It shifts firmly. but not hard.  It works very well with this combo. The trans is connected to the rear with a custom 3-1/2 balanced driveshaft.

Rear: The rear is a narrowed 9" with a brace and billet housing ends that has been jig welded. It is powdercoated gloss black.  It has Dutchman Motorsports 31 spline axles with tapered bearings. Axles and bearings are new within the last 6 months. as well as the Yukon Gear Trac-Loc Race Posi. This posi is a Brute! It is also totally rebuildable! It is housed in a Strange nodular iron center section. with a billet yoke. Rear brakes are Aerospace Components. with vented street rotors and 4 piston billet calibers. This truck will stop quickly!! It has a Richmond 3:70 Gear in it. A very good streetable ratio that works well with the torque of the 406!

Wheels and tires: The truck rides on Centerline Convo Pro 15x6 front. and 15x12 rear forged aluminum wheels. These wheels are extremely strong! It has Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro 29x15. 5x15 tires in the rear. and BF Goodrich T/A radials in the front. The tires have less than 500 miles on them.

In summary. this is a very nice piece. that has a lot of GM NOS parts throughout. I used a lot of high-end aftermarket pieces in the engine build. and throughout the truck! I built it to keep. but life throws curves at you. and it is time to go. Feel free to call me with any questions you might have about the truck. 727-417-6399 Greg
