Hi. my name is Brian and this is my 1967 Mk1 Cooper S named Nigel.

First question always asked is this really a Mark 1 Cooper S and the answer is YES!  I have a Heritage Certificate that you will receive with the car that shows that it was manufactured in May of 1967 and dispatched to the North American Market in June of 1967.

This means it was and still is a left hand drive car.

It was originally shipped out in Old English White over Almond Green.   Meaning white roof and green body.

A lot of work has been done to this car in the last 47 years. including a recent beautiful paint job of White over Red. the best looking color combination for a Mini.

Many things have been changed from original and a lot of work has been completed.

This car is ready to be driven!

Everything has been addressed and it runs great.

It has a full stainless steel Maniflow header and exhaust paired with a Weber carb on a 1275cc engine.

Some of you looking at this ad know everything there is to know about Mini's. some of you may not know much about Mini's.   I have a lot of knowledge of the cars and their history and I am more than happy to help answer any questions.

In the next couple of months I will be losing my garage.   It is going to be torn down and a new condo building with mixed retail will be taking it's place.   It has been safely tucked in there on a Battery Tender and driven for events. parades. club meets and when the weather is nice here in Seattle.   After the garage is torn down I may not have such a great place for the car and with it's heritage and value it really should be stored properly.

I am available most days from about 9:30am till 9:30pm.   My phone number is 206-612-0626.   It is an iPhone so you may text or call me.   We may even be able to schedule a FaceTime chat so you may “see” the car.

This is a NO RESERVE auction.   It is going to start at $1. 00 and we will see where the auction goes.   It is also for sale in other areas so the eBay listing may be cancelled at any time.   There is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 that is mandatory within 24 hours.   The remainder of the funds must be wire transferred to my Bank of America account within 7 days of the auction end.

I can help work with your shipper to get you this car anywhere in the world.  I have some contacts for shipping companies.

Here are some more details about the car:

My understanding is that the seats are from an early Mustang.   They have been reupholstered in a very nice cream colored textured vinyl.   The headliner has also been done in the same material.   What is great about the seats is that they fold down almost entirely flat so getting in and out of the back is very easy.

The subframes have been converted from “wet” to “dry”. meaning the original hydrolastic suspension has been completely replaced.   When the rear subframe was out it was stripped. bead blasted and powder coated in black.   Everything attached to the rear subframe was replaced.   It has brand new rear brakes. including shoes and drums.   The brake lines were replaced.   There are new radius arm bushings. bearings shafts. washers. nuts and rubber seals.   The radius arm knuckle joints were cleaned up.   New wheel studs. shocks. rubber cones and hi-lows.

The battery was purchased from Costco less than two years ago.

The rims and tires are new.   10” JBW Minilites with Yokohama A008's.   Probably less than a couple hundred miles.

The wire harness was completely replaced with a Ron Francis wiring kit.   This kit replaces all wires. switches and connections.   They are all fused with the new modern common style blade fuses.   The switches in the dash have also been replaced with pull type switches.   It was my intention to get the original type switches installed.

Front axles have been pulled and the CV boots were replaced and properly lubed.

It has electronic ignition.   This car starts immediately and drives great.

There is so much I could probably go on forever.   Hopefully I have answered a lot of questions here. but please do not hesitate to contact me.

As you can see by my profile I am a very honest eBayer with 100% positive feedback over the last 15 years.
