Seller's notes: "Offered for auction/sale is this well painted, Empire Blue, 1969 Jeepster Commando Pickup that has been repainted in 2013 and new emblems adorned on this very original example. Owned by the same family since the early 70's and having let a pampered life, the miles are reported to be original and actual to the vehicle. Same current owner since 1978 when it was inherited and passed down from Father in Law. Gauges all work and are original, unrestored and show some usual wear around the bezels but add to the charm and heritage of this rare pickup model. Can be easily turned into an open air convertible with the removal of the White hardtop. The Dauntless 225 V6 is original to the truck and has been well maintained and tuned along the way and provisions to run on unleaded gasoline have been implemented. The undercarriage and running gear are all original and in solid condition, no perforations and only slight surface corrosion, as would be expected after 45 years. Great paint and look!"
