Aggressively priced to sell. Good solid runner far below rebuild price.  Low Reserve. in fact I probably should have saved the $15 and not bothered :)

1991 BMY Division of Harsco M923A2 5 Ton 6X6 Cargo Truck

Hard Top (camo cargo cover available as option. see below)

Only 18. 83 miles and 646. 4 hours

Solid driver. No handling or tracking issues. The truck has been driven within the last 2 weeks (~40 miles) with no problems

Truck will be titled as 1987 (qualify for Antique Tags) and 26000lbs GVW. No CDL but check you local laws please. I currently DO NOT have title in hand however it is in process and expected in next 7-10 days. Expecting AZ title. If you want a PA title I can arrange this but cost would be extra $400 and probably take additional 2 weeks. I will update posting if title comes in before auction end. I do not expect any monies to change hands before I have a title in hand and deliver truck to buyer.

This is NOT a rebuild truck but it is a good solid truck. Only real issue is surface rust on hood (black areas). rust on drivers side fender and paint flaking on hard top roof. Some CARC flaking on body and undercarriage. Overall with exceptions noted very good paint. but not current repaint but also not carrying a $10K+ price tag.

Maintenance Work Order (MWO) Tag dated as recent as March and April 2011 so truck has been fairly recently serviced. Also have matching paper work order showing Annual Maintenance performed in Feb 2011. Front hubs chalked with 2012 service markings

Solargizer Battery Tender Installed. Batteries show “shipped in 2009”.

CTIS is functional. It is operating intermittently. Basically get correct operation or 4l flashing indicator lights. Suspect possible issue with initial tire pressures and CTIS assembly at wheel. Again I did have it working the other day but its not consistent enough to tell you it works perfectly. These are notoriously temperamental at best.

Features:

8. 3L Cummins 6CTA Super Turbo Diesel Engine

6X6 Drive

Power Steering. Air Brakes

5 Speed Allison Automatic Transmission (The downshift from 1-2 to 1-1 is a bit rough. otherwise fine)

2 Speed Transfer Case with High and Low Range

Hard Top. Interior Excellent Condition. Exterior top has paint peel.  (It's 20ft up so you can't see it :) )

14ft flatbed

14" Steel fold down sides

Troop Seats - Side Rails - The one side is all metal and excellent condition. The other side does have 3 wooden boards as part of the troop seat. Good integrity but probably should be conditioned and painted. Front rails near cab are wood and are in need of repaint. Good integrity. No rotting on any of the rails or troop seat boards

Pintle hitch

Trailer air brake couplers. front and rear

Tires: Super Singles - Goodyear's on front and Goodyear on front rears. Michelin on back rears. Good thread. The front driver's side tire does have an air leak. Looks like at 60psi you get leaking from the wheel split which likely mean the o-ring needs to be replaced or serviced. It holds air for the most part below 60psi. turns to a very slow leak. It could be the 2pc wheel nuts are lose and need to be tightened. but most likely o-ring should be serviced. All other tires hold good air with a some pressure drop over time.

Spare Tire: Goodyear Super Single - Good Thread. Fair condition.

All Lights Functional and Good

Air comes up to correct PSI. 120psi range

All gauges appear functional including fuel gauge (Oil Pressure Gauge is reading high - good fluid level)

Paint: Overall decent paint except as follows:

The drivers side front fender does has a fair amount of rust in the front corner under the turn signal light area. The picture makes it look like it is thru the body but its not. There is a metal brace piece that is pretty rusted and probably should be replaced. I took pictures of both sides so you can see good and bad. Again its not body thru rust but this one area is a bit more intense then surface rust.

Hood. surface rust in black painted area

Hard Top. Paint Peel on roof. All surface. otherwise top is in excellent condition.

Optional:  I do have a complete camo cargo cover with full set of bows in excellent condition (Not included in this auction) that I would make available to the buyer for an additional $800. $500 if using buy-it-now option. Excellent price for complete camo cover

I always try and provide as much up front detail as possible and have included 24 photos in the listing. Also you can find more pictures and a video of the truck running at

Buying/Selling/Playing with MV's is a hobby and as such I have low overhead and am looking to pass along what I think are reasonable prices on these excellent trucks. Check my feedback as I have sold MV before along with several other auto's with perfect feedback

Should you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me anytime. Happy to answer all questions.

I always attach as many pictures as possible by ebay in an effort for full disclosure. These are Military Surplus Trucks and as such please understand what it is your buying and what condition is reasonable to expect. These are never going to be perfect but are true work horse vehicles. I want to ensure that I provide as much detail as possible and answer all questions so don't hesitate to ask. Goal is no surprises when you pick up the truck.

As it is a used surplus vehicle it is being SOLD AS-IS with no warranty at all. Again I make all efforts to provide as much information as possible about the operational state of the vehicle but am not a mechanic.

On Mar-21-14 at 13:48:31 PDT. seller added the following information:

I added 4 more pictures of the truck to the iCloud link. Taken in much better light then then one I used in the actual listing which was done near dark on a cloudy day.  Not one of my better ideas. Far nicer representation of the truck.
