This Datsun Roadster was delivered to the original owner on November 17. 1969 by Troncalli Motors. Inc. . Decatur. Ga. This information is on the inside cover of the Warranty Booklet along with the names of the subsequent three owners. including myself. who purchased the car on April 17. 2007. The original owner purchased a 50. 00 mile extended warranty. The certificate is included with the paperwork that goes with the sale of the car. Also included is the original Owners Manual and Warranty and Service Booklet. all three parts of The Datsun Roadster Book. the Datsun Sports Parts Listing. Repair and Service Manual from Datsun Roadster Parts. an original dealer brochure and a Chilton Manual.

The car has always been in the Metro Atlanta area.

The car is in great condition mechanically and cosmetically. Since I've owned the car the following has been done:

New lower ball joints installed

Gary Boone "Dizzy" electronic distributor and new coil

Fusible Link installed

Headlight upgrade to H4 with relays

Replaced all four shock absorbers

Radiator re-cored (3 row) with new thermostat. The car never overheats.

Nardi Wooden steering wheel

Minilite Wheels with Michelin tires

The car was repainted in August 2008 in the original Yellow paint code number 665. Since the car was painted the original color. I did not have the door jambs painted. I didn't realize how faded the original paint was. so the jambs are lighter. When the car was painted. new tail light gaskets. side molding clips. twisties and posties and new front and rear bumpers were installed. The car needed no body work except for a small dent in the rear deck where something fell on it in the garage.

The engine runs smooth and strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes work well with no shimmy or pulling. The steering tracks straight with no vibration in the steering wheel.

The top is very serviceable with clear windows. There is a repair on the passenger side where the top was slit. There is a usable tonneau cover. The boot that covers the top when it is down is included. but it has shrunk. so it does not snap in place. The seats were re-upholstered and new carpet installed. The dash and the center console have full caps and look great. All switches and gauges. including the clock. work.

This is a fun car to drive and it gets comments whenever I drive it. I've driven it about 6. 00 miles in six years. Otherwise it is garaged and covered.  The custom car cover is included.

The car is sold AS IS with no warranty. The buyer is responsible for any costs associated with transport of the car to their location. I will assist. but it is the buyers responsibility to make arrangements for transportation.

A deposit of $500 by Paypal is due at the close of the auction. The balance is due in cash. money order or bank wire transfer before taking delivery of the car.

The car is advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if the car sell.

Hello
can you tell the paint code and brand of paint the body shop used to paint the Datsun
My car is also a 665 code but the variations of that code are really different depending on what paint company is used
I like the color of your car and would like to get particular brans and code of paint
Thanks
Rocco
