I am selling my beloved 1956 Oval window VW Beetle in as is condition Car has been in dry storage since purchased some 10 years ago. The car was started two years ago after a trip to the mechanic in Burwood Vic for a tune. Since then has been sitting and recently moved to its new home a few weeks ago. The car is still 6 volt. has a 36hp engine and gearbox. original brakes and standard suspension with no modifications to the front beam. Chassis Number: 1400584 The chassis is in very good condition for its age. There is some rust in heater channels. the floor where the battery sits and passenger side. Paint has faded. The original semaphores are there. however are not wired up for use. What you see it what you get. The beetle comes with all parts as per the photo. They have been taken off and are in the vehicle. The vehicle would need to be transport on a car trailer by the new owner. Basically it is an honest vintage VW that would suit a serious buyer and VW fan The vehicle is advertised elsewhere; therefore I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Pick up only. Bank transfer required before pick up
