Jaguar E-Type Series 1 2+2. 4. 2 Litre. Factory Automatic. LHD it is an excellent driver with the body. chassis and paint in good condition with no rust what so ever. The interior is original with just the right amount of pattina. The mechanical work completed has been extensive it has had a complete engine overhaul which includes all new rings. bearings. seals. gaskets and rebuilt head. The cooling system has had all new hoses. heater core. waterpump. thermostats. reco radiator and a electric thermo fan fitted for those hot summer days (still have the original fan). Also for reliability a electric distributor and coil were fitted. To compliment the newly rebuilt engine the cam covers and carby covers were polished and a complete stainless steel exhaust system was also fitted. It has also had numerous other items done at the same such as a transmission service and various suspension components replaced or re-bushed. The car is extremely realible and i have completed many events within the jaguar car club and others such as the recent RACV national rally with no issues even in 41 degree weather. It is an absolute pleasure to drive. Though it is LHD the car is priced accordingly if it were RHD the asking price would be higher in saying that i can arrange a RHD conversion at an additional cost (Approx 6 K) The car will be sold with a Roadworthy Certificate if sold for the right price. Prices are on the way up so nows the time to buy. I may also consider part trade for another car/boat/bike.
