Selling my project "babies" due to a need to downsize to a smaller property and a realisation that there is not enough health/years/hours left to complete them. This car would suit a BMW "nut" like me who wants a striking looking car for club days and Sunday drives etc.
Rare 1977 E 3 BMW 3. 0 L long wheel base sedan - the last of the series and forunner to the 7 series. Took me a long time to find one as good as this one. The vehicle is in excellent unrestored condition. having been resprayed at some stage in the original Gold colour (Topasbraun). The car is very straight as can be seen by the panel relections and is rust free in the usual rusty places. door corners and C pillars etc. I can email more pics if you require.
The interior and exterior trim is in excellent condition including the drivers seat which is rip free. There are no cracks in the dashboard padding etc. The car has obviously been garaged for most of its life. which reflects the history as told to me that it was an interstate "occasional use" vehicle for Sydney businessman when he was in town.
Mechanically the car is very good with an excellent responsive drivetrain. The vehicle is an excellent resto project with only a couple of very minor things needed for rego.
The car comes with NSW black and white plates "BMW-30 L"which I have in storage at the local RTA. If the buyer is from outside NSW I will sell without the plates . Also comes with a set of "L" doors and panels etc. I have a stack of E 3 parts available if needed .
I also have a 1976 E 3 3. 0 si in Ruby Red in similar straight condition and a very low mileage blue 1986 UK E 28 528 i auto as well as some rare parts which I will be listing soon so keep an eye out.
I can help with carrier loading at this end. Bank deposit required within 3 days of auction ending. Car will be advertised elsewhere this week.
