Austin Cambridge A50 Project With Extra Austin A50 AND Spares in Tamborine, QLD for sale
Current customer rating:
Dark Grey A 50 has a running 1622 engine with cracked manifold. Rusty sub frame that can be fixed on both sides in the "Y" section. Pretty good sills. Rust in inner right guard/engine bay. Rust in top of both wings.
These rust parts can be taken from the spare A 50 (donor car) and spare wing.
Light Grey A 50 is a parts cat with a running 1500 engine. Rust has many parts of this car. but the engine bay is clean. Some section may be able to be cut out and used for patching the main car.
The best interior is the blue one in the light grey A 50. The seats need a good treatment of leather softener then they could be used as is until stitching totally let's go. The blue door cards would be ok to use. Of course if it was show quality you were looking for. then this whole interior would be good for restoration. The red interior needs more work. Then there is also 2 spare front seats that are good frames.
There is a spare 1500 that runs. connected to an MG gearbox with a spare radiator that holds water.
There is set of old conventional tyres on the dark grey car. a set of radial tyres that should be ok for use on the light grey car. along with two spare old conventional rims. two spare old conventional tyres. All these conventional tyres are 5. 60-15. Then there is four almost brand new 5. 90-15 conventional tyres. And 1 spare rim.
Some spares are included. These red panels came from an A 50/A 55.
I have forced to sell my projects due to loss of income and bills piling up. I have done the weighing up of which car to put on the road and basically know what work is involved. apart from the inevitable unseen problems that these projects reveal during the build.
