This is a gorgeous example of a show quality traditionally styled 1932 Ford Tudor. The car was a full ground up, every nut and bolt style build which was completed in 2013 and the car has only traveled 27 miles since completion.

Starting with the chassis which is a brand new item from Rod shop of Toowoomba. The chassis consist of re-manufactured 1932 ford style side rails with custom bracing throughout. The front suspension is a traditional four link setup with solid bar axle and a transverse leaf spring. The rear suspension is a four link with coil overs attached to a Ford 9” diff. The brakes are a dual master cyl, vacuum assisted system with disks up front hidden by finned covers to keep things looking traditional and drums in the rear. The entire chassis is smooth underneath and painted to match the car in a full show style build.

The engine is a completely rebuilt 348ci big block Chev from a 1959 Impala paired with a Turbo 350 Auto transmission that has been manualised. The engine is nicely detailed in an open engine bay with a badass traditional style triple carb set up sitting on top. Everything is in the open engine bay is painted or chrome plated with neat billet accessories splashed around.

The Body is a Deuce Customs 32 Ford Tudor, the car is extensively steeled out inside to meet the legal requirements. The body has been coated with a silky smooth coat of Jaguar Regency Red with Colonial cream accents. The paint extends to a large part of the engine bay, chassis and under body which is fully detailed to an award winning level. Anything that is not perfectly covered in paintwork has been polished or chrome plated. The car would be at home on display at any major hot rod show with mirrors underneath it.

Like the show quality exterior, the interior of the rod is beautiful with plush cream ostrich hide. In the front is bucket seats with a split bench in the rear. The seats, door trims and head liner all received covering. A Lokar style shifter on the floor fits perfectly in the vintage style carpets. The original style 32 dash is retained with all new gauges and a 1940 Ford steering wheel for that traditional look. The windows are power operated and there are seat belts on all four seats for safety. The windscreen is a custom item that pops forward for a cool look and improved air flow.

The car sits low and ditches the big original swooping fenders in favour of cycle guards all round that fit tight to the wheels. The car is currently displayed without the guards but they will be refitted for the new owner prior to sale. The wheels are 16” steelies all round with traditional style cross ply tyres and period Mercury Hubcaps.

There are too many small details in this rod to mention in this description and it really needs to be seen in person to appreciate the details. Every single part of the car is show quality in finish and either perfectly painted, polished or chrome plated. The car was unveiled at Summernats when it was completed where it won top 20 and Meguiars Superstar status. The car is built from all new parts and has done next to no miles since being completed. A great high quality hot rod for cruising or the show circuit that you can fit the whole family in!
